Abstract:
A desired pattern is formed in a photoresist layer that overlies a semiconductor wafer using a reflective mask. This mask is formed by consecutively depositing a reflective layer, an absorber layer and an anti-reflective (ARC) layer. The ARC layer is patterned according to the desired pattern. The ARC layer is inspected to find areas in which the desired pattern is not achieved. The ARC layer is then repaired to achieve the desired pattern with the absorber layer protecting the reflective layer. The desired pattern is transferred to the absorber layer to reveal the reflective portion of mask. Radiation is reflected off the reflective mask to the semiconductor wafer to expose the photoresist layer overlying the semiconductor wafer with the desired pattern.
Abstract:
A pneumatically adjustable brassiere re-shapes drooping or small breasts. The brassiere includes brassiere cups of a conventional shape and are respectively composed as an integral body with a first tube made of soft synthetic resin containing a predetermined amount of ceramic material, antibiotics, and deodorizer particles and connected with a feed valve. A second tube is separately connected with an air blowing pump. The first tube has several protrusions for finger pressure therapy and several vents on an inner surface thereof. The feed valve includes a valve sheet for intake of air into the valve body with alternately opening inflow holes on the valve body, two highly elastic springs and corrugated air pumps to vibrate up and down according to a wearer's movement so as to automatically supply air to the first air tube. The second tube is able to inflate and deflate in accordance with a degree of air-supply from the air blowing pump, thereby controlling an amount of air supplied to the second tube of each brassiere cup.
Abstract:
A variable length decoder comprises a bitstream feeder connected to a header analyzer, and a block data decoder coupled to the feeder. The bitstream feeder includes a barrel shifter to output a 32-bit bitstream to the header analyzer, block data decoder and control circuit. The header analyzer detects the start codes of the MPEG header layers and decodes the parameters of the MPEG layers contained in the encoded bitstream. Further, the header analyzer decodes the quantization factors of 8.times.8 pixel data which have been converted into 64 DCT coefficients. The block data decoder includes a macroblock decoder connected to a block decoder. The macroblock decoder outputs a header.sub.-- start signal, and activates the block decoder. The block decoder includes a code table for decoding 64 coefficients in each of the 6 block layers based on a binary pattern of a predetermined number of bits of the bitstream. The six block layers are decoded within 384 clock cycles. The control circuit monitors the functions of the bitstream feeder, the header analyzer and the block data decoder.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method of driving a touch panel having driving lines, sensing lines, and node capacitors between neighboring driving lines and sensing lines. The method includes pairing two neighboring driving lines, setting the pairs such that each of the pairs is driven using driving signals having an opposite phase, shuffling positions of the pairs so that at least one set of neighboring pairs includes different driving lines, classifying or combining at least two shuffled pairs into one group, generating Hadamard codes based on the pairs in each group, and simultaneously driving the driving lines in each of the generated Hadamard codes.
Abstract:
In a non-volatile memory system, a plurality of main memory cells for storing data is arranged in a data cell array and a plurality of reference memory cells is arranged in a reference cell array. The reference cell array includes first reference word lines connected to first reference memory cells and extending, second reference word lines connected to second reference memory cells and extending alternately with the first reference word lines, reference bit lines to which the first and the second reference memory cells are alternately connected in a line and a combined cell having a pair of the first and second reference memory cells and generating a reference signal for processing the data. The first and the second reference memory cells have different cell characteristics. The stability of the reference signal is improved irrespective of the differentiation of the first and the second reference memory cells.
Abstract:
An image tuning system and method using a stored image signal, in which the image tuning system includes an image processing device and an external device. The image processing device outputs a third image signal by processing a first or second image signal according to a tuning parameter. The external device calculates the tuning parameter based on the third image signal. The image processing device receives the second image from the external device in a tuning mode and processes the second image. The image tuning system and the image tuning method using the stored raw image signal can prevent wasting time and extra efforts are not required for setting the tuning parameter adaptive to various weather conditions by repeatedly setting the tuning parameter with respect to a picture image.
Abstract:
A computer system having a plurality of devices including a data storage part which includes a plurality of cells to store data, and a controller to inspect whether there is a defective cell in the data storage part if a condition to execute a cell inspection function is met, and sets the defective cell to be assigned to one of the devices if a defective cell is found.
Abstract:
Methods of searching for a sync word in an MPEG compressed audio bitstream including a plurality of MPEG audio frames can include determining whether first data in the bitstream has a value equal to a sync word value. It can be determined whether the first data is a valid sync word based on a comparison of a plurality of data that are separated in the bitstream from the first data by at least a frame length to the sync word value.

A display device includes a display panel on which an image is displayed, and a driving board. The driving board includes a substrate, a first multi-layer ceramic condenser disposed on the substrate and to which a first current is supplied, and a second multi-layer ceramic condenser disposed substantially parallel with the first multi-layer ceramic condenser and to which a second current is supplied. The first current and the second current are supplied to the first multi-layer ceramic condenser and the second multi-layer ceramic condenser, respectively, in opposite directions.
Abstract:
A battery pack case adapted to enclose a protective circuit module and a bare cell includes at least one small opening arranged on a side to expose an external terminal of the protective circuit module and a large opening arranged in the opposite direction to the small opening to expose a surface of the bare cell. Since a bare cell and a protective circuit module are contained within an integral case, the bare cell is prevented from escaping out of the protective circuit module and no separate resin is necessary to fill the gap between the bare cell and the protective circuit module. In addition, the battery pack case has gates, through which a resin is injected, which are properly arrayed in such a manner during resin injection that the case has no unshaped part.
