摘要: A housing assembly, structured to enclose a plurality of electrical components and flexible cables, each the electrical component coupled at least one other electrical component or to an input device by the cables, includes a plurality of mounting plate members and a plurality of vertical walls. The plurality of mounting plate members includes at least a bottom mounting plate member and at least one movable mounting plate member. Each mounting plate structured to support one or more electrical components. The plurality of vertical walls include a front wall coupled to, and extending generally perpendicular to, the base plate member, a first side wall coupled to, and extending generally perpendicular to, the base plate member, a second side wall coupled to, and extending generally perpendicular to, the base plate member, a back wall coupled to, and extending generally perpendicular to, the base plate member. The movable mounting plate member is pivotally coupled to the at least one vertical wall and is structured to move between a first, closed position and a second open position. Thus, a plurality of electronic components may be coupled to each plate in the plurality of plates, and whereby the electronic components remain coupled to each other as the movable mounting plates move between the first, closed position and the second, open position.

摘要: A tampon applicator is provided having a barrel and/or a plunger molded from a pulp-based material. The barrel can be molded such that it includes a molded fingergrip area having a textured surface, at least one gripping structure, or any combination thereof. Petals may be molded on the pledget ejection end of the barrel. In addition, the exterior surface of the barrel is molded such that it is textured, smooth, or any combinations thereof. The molded tampon applicator exhibits superior flushability and compostability characteristics, without compromising the strength of the barrel or plunger.

摘要: The present invention involves a universal connector assembly for electronic interconnection. The connector assembly includes a printed circuit board to which a male insert is in electrical communication. The male insert includes a strain relief tail connected to the printed circuit board and extends to a contact head. The assembly further includes a female socket for receiving the contact head of the male insert. The female socket has receiving members extending from a base to respective ends. The ends are biasingly spaced apart to define an opening through which the male insert is disposed for electrical contact with the female socket. The receiving members have an inside contact surface and an outside surface wherein the inside surface is configured to complement the outer contact wall of the male insert for electrical engagement when the male insert is disposed through the opening. The assembly further comprises a connector housing to which the base of the female socket is attached.

摘要: An intermediate workpiece includes a first strip of laminated material exhibiting high thermal conductivity and which is subject to bowing in response to thermal cycling. A second strip of copper material is welded to the first strip along a longitudinal abutting edge of each strip. The first strip is partitioned into smaller heatspreader sections each for having a semiconductor die soldered thereto. Thermal manufacturing cycles will not cause a bowing of the second strip or of the heatspreader sections attached thereto.

摘要: A substantially constant current is conducted in a first direction through an interconnect structure having a barrier layer to determine the lifetime of the structure in the first current direction. A substantially identical current is conducted in a second direction through a substantially identical interconnect structure to determine the lifetime of the structure in the second current direction. These tests are repeated for identical structures but having different barrier layer thicknesses. The results of these lifetime tests are compared to determine the barrier layer's effect on electromigration in the structure, which can be used to design the barrier layer to optimize the structure's lifetime and speed.
