Abstract:
A hardening agent composition for epoxy resins and a method for forming the composition is disclosed, which comprises a low-reactive hardening agent, an imidazole compound and a zeolite, wherein the imidazole compound is substituted on the imidazole nucleus by at least one of (a) and (b): (a) an alkyl group having 2 or more carbon atoms and a polar group and (b) an alkenyl group. The hardening agent composition combined with an epoxy resin to form a thermosetting epoxy resin composition, capable of hardening under heat to give a hardened product, has a remarkably elevated adhesion strength.
Abstract:
An anti-freezing system for a windshield-wiper of a vehicle including a cut off device, which may be a relay, responsive to a temperature sensor which senses the ambient temperature. The cut off device energizes a heater to heat the windshield-wiper when and only when the ambient temperature as sensed by the temperature sensor is below a predetermined value. The system may include a control device, which may be a relay, responsive to the output of an electric generator provided in the automotive vehicle and adapted to disable the heater unless the electric generator is delivering power. The system may further include a manual override switch whereby the heater may be supplied with power, irrespective of the state of the cut off device. The heater may be provided extending along an elongated wiper support, or may be embedded in a wiper blade supported by the wiper support. The temperature sensor is preferably provided on the windshield-wiper in a position where the temperature sensor is free from the influence of the heater.
Abstract:
A selection device includes an acquisition part to acquire digital selection signals, and an output part to output selection signals to respective unit cells, each unit cell capable of being commanded to output the value zero. In the selection device, each selection signal is to command the unit cell to output a value corresponding to that selection signal; the sum of the values to be output as commanded by the respective selection signals, which are output to the respective unit cells, is a value determined in association with the digital selection signal; and if the output corresponding to the digital selection signal is the value zero, then selection signals each commanding to output a non-zero value (N) are output to some of the unit cells.
Abstract:
An acoustic playback system including a digital filter; and a plurality of digital modulators each of which output a digital signal to one of a plurality of speakers configured with speakers driven by digital signals having different play back bandwidths; wherein the digital filter converts a digital audio signal which is input into a plurality of digital audio signals of a plurality of frequency bandwidths corresponding to play back bandwidths of the plurality of speakers, and outputs each of the digital audio signals of the plurality of frequency bandwidths to one of the plurality of digital modulators; each of the plurality of digital modulators outputs the modulated digital signal to the speaker of a play back bandwidth corresponding to a frequency bandwidth of the digital audio signal which is input by performing miss match shaping after noise shaping to a digital audio signal which is input; and each number of bits of a digital signal which is output by each of the digital modulators is different is provided.
Abstract:
A digital/analog conversion apparatus for converting a digital signal into an analog signal. The digital/analog conversion apparatus can generate a high-quality analog signal, even when elements configuring the digital/analog conversion apparatus have variance, with high resolution and a small circuit size. The data conversion apparatus is provided with a first data converter for reducing the number of bits of an input signal, a second data converter for converting the format of the first output signal, and a third data converter for conversion into a code which corresponds to the history of the output from the second data converter.
Abstract:
An amplifier having an increased the upper limit on the amplitude of an audio signal generated between one common terminal and the output terminals of left and right channels without raising the power supply voltage. The level at common terminal C is changed corresponding to the average of the input audio signals (ViL, ViR) to increase the amplitudes of the output audio signals (VL, VR). In this way, the amplitudes of audio signals (VL, VR) supplied to the headphone can be increased compared with the case when the level at terminal C is kept constant. Also, the upper limit on the amplitudes of audio signals (VL, VR) can be increased without raising the power supply voltage.
Abstract:
A comparator compares a first binary input signal and a second binary input signal each binalized. A generator generates a reset signal at each rising edge or each falling edge of the first input signal. A counter counts the second input signal at each timing determined by the reset signal. The counted value represents a ratio of each frequency of the first input signal and the second input signal. A subtractor calculates a difference between the counted value and a set value representing a predetermined ratio of each frequency of the first input signal and the second input signal. An integrator integrates the difference. The integrated value represents a phase difference of the frequencies of the first input signal and the second input signal.
