The toothed gear is of a dish-shaped disk having a thickened peripheral edge portion in an outer and/or inner side of which gear teeth are shaped, at least the surface area of the gear teeth being of a martensite structure, the disk being made of a steel comprising a ferrite-cementite-graphite structure in which 50% or more of cementite has been changed to graphite, the steel composition of the disk consisting essentially of, by weight %:C: 0.20-0.70%, Si: 0.05-1.00%, Mn: 0.05-0.50%, sol. Al: 0.01-1.00%, N: 0.002-0.010%, B: 0.0003-0.0050%, Ca: 0-0.01%, Cu: 0-1.00%, Ni: 0-2.00%,and a balance of Fe and incidental impurities in which the content of P is restricted to not larger than 0.020% and the content of S is restricted to not larger than 0.010%.

摘要： A communication device receives secure communication frames on which a security transform has been performed to permit authentication. The communication device maintains an authentication history and a local time varying parameter. In multi-hop communication, the communication device provisionally verifies the freshness of a received secure communication frame by verifying that identifying information extracted from the frame is not already present in the authentication history and that a received time varying parameter extracted from the frame is not older than the local time varying parameter by more than a certain margin. If these freshness tests both pass, the frame is authenticated. If authentication succeeds, the frame is transmitted on the next hop without performance of a new security transform.

摘要： A position estimating system capable of accurately estimating the position assumed by a target terminal user based upon measurement of wireless reception signal levels of signals from a target terminal is provided. The position estimating system includes a target terminal that wirelessly transmits a position estimation request, a plurality of reference terminals disposed at specific positions which, measure the signal strength of wireless signals from the target terminal and a position estimating server that estimates the position of the target terminal based upon the reception signal levels measured in correspondence to each of the reference terminals. The reference terminals each include a reception signal level utilization OK/NG judgment unit that makes a judgment as to whether or not the reception signal level value having been measured is to be used in position estimation based upon an index indicating the level of reliability of the reception signal.

摘要： A wireless multi-hop network of a communication system is structured with a number of the communication devices and the collecting communication device. Transmission information from each communication devices is sequentially relayed to reach the collecting communication device. Each communication device features a function for on/off control of a transmission/reception processing section. The communication device also includes: a section which appends an urgent flag to urgent information that is to be relayed and transmits the urgent information, and fixes the transmission/reception processing section to ‘on’; a section which verifies a relay by a relay destination communication device and, if verification is achieved, fixes the transmission/reception processing section to ‘on’ and switches to a state for promptly relaying received information; a section which, if the verification is not achieved, retransmits the urgent information; and a section which, when retransmitted urgent information is received, relay-transmits the information immediately.
