摘要: A method for controlling intake throttling for a diesel engine provided with an exhaust gas soot catcher, which also has an intake throttling valve for restricting intake air, thus heating the exhaust gases for purging the soot catcher. The intake throttling valve is controlled by selecting a target opening amount for the intake throttling valve, and by altering the actual opening amount of the intake throttling valve, if substantially different from this target opening amount, in the direction of the target opening amount. The rate of change of the actual opening amount of the intake throttling valve is made to be greater when the difference between the actual opening amount of the intake throttling valve and the target opening amount for the intake throttling valve is greater, and is smaller when the difference between the actual opening amount of the intake throttling valve and the target opening amount is smaller. Apparatus is also described for controlling an intake throttling valve in this manner.

摘要: An auger is accommodated in a vertically disposed cylindrical refrigerated casing for scratching an ice layer made around the inner periphery of the refrigerated casing and feeding the scratched ice upward. The auger includes a columnar main body and a spiral blade disposed around the outer periphery of the main body. The cross section of the spiral blade in the axial direction of the main body is formed of an upper end surface extending outward in a radial direction from the main body, a lower end surface spaced axially from the upper end surface and extending outward in the radial direction from the main body, and a tapered surface linearly connecting both the extreme ends of the upper end surface and the lower end surface. The tapered surface extends upwardly and radially inwardly from a radially outermost portion of the extreme end of the lower end surface.

摘要: An auger-type ice making machine includes an ice making barrel, an auger provided in the ice making barrel, an upper bearing and a lower bearing which are provided inside the ice making barrel for supporting the auger rotatably, and a drive unit for rotating the auger. At the bottom end of the ice making barrel, a connecting flange extending outwardly in the radial direction is formed integrally with the ice making barrel by friction welding. The connecting flange is tightened to the top surface of a casing of the drive unit with bolts. A bearing housing of the lower bearing is fixed in the ice making barrel apart from the casing with a bolt which is screwed in the ice making barrel. The bearing housing of the lower bearing may alternatively be fixed by forming an outward flange and a plurality of projections extending outwardly at the bottom end of the bearing housing and by fitting the plurality of projections in a fitting groove of the casing of the drive unit.

摘要: An electronic tone generator in which a plurality of types of scale data and tone-length data are stored in an associative arrangement at predetermined addresses in a single storage device. The plurality of types of scale data read from the single storage device are input to corresponding waveform generators, where melody-waveform signals are generated. The melody-waveform signals generated in the respective waveform generators are mixed and synthesized by a mixer before being output from an output device. The waveform generators are adapted to switch envelope waveforms generated by envelope-waveform generators of a digital circuit configuration with waveform signals corresponding to the scale data, thereby obtaining melody-waveform signals. One of the waveform generators is adapted to generate a melody-waveform signal having a frequency which is an integral multiplication of the frequency of a main melody, for example, three times the frequency thereof, or to generate a melody-waveform signal giving a tremolo effect. To this electronic tone generator can be added a waveform generator for generating a percussion-waveform signal; the melody-waveform signals can be mixed and synthesized with the percussion-waveform signal, which makes it possible to output a melody with an accompaniment.

摘要: An apparatus for producing a frequency-multiplex signal on the basis of a plurality of signals so as to record the produced frequency-multiplex signal on a recording medium, second signal having a frequency lower than that of the first signal. The apparatus includes a multiplying circuit for multiplying the frequency of the second signal by 2 and an amplitude-modulator for multiplying the first signal by the output signal of the multiplying circuit. Also included in the apparatus is an adder for adding the second signal to the output signal of the amplitude-modulator, the output signal of the adder being recorded as the frequency-multiplexing signal on the recording medium.

摘要: An angle change detector which can also be used as an inclination angle detector comprises a pair of opposing magnets, a sector-shaped pendulum made of an electroconductive non-magnetic material and swingable past a spacing between the opposing magnets, and a pair of photosensors disposed on both side edges of the pendulum. Each photosensor comprises a light emitting diode and a phototransistor disposed on both sides of the pendulum. Output signals of the phototransistors are compared with a reference signal for producing an output signal corresponding to the degree of swinging of the pendulum.
