    摘要: A module-type semiconductor device in which a plurality of IGBTs are incorporated in a package in such a way so as to provide a highly reliable pressure contact type semiconductor device having improved heat dissipation performance and small internal wiring inductance. A plurality of IGBTs are incorporated and arranged in a flat package with a hermetic structure consisting of common electrode plates exposed to top and bottom face sides, and an insulating outer frame interposed between the common electrodes plates and seal-joining those electrode plates. Contact terminal bodies which serve as both pressing members and heat radiators are interposed between the top-face-side common electrode plate and emitter electrodes of the respective opposing IGBTs. The emitter electrodes of the IGBTs and the common electrode, and the collector electrodes and the bottom-face-side common electrode, are directly brought in pressure contact with each other. Gate electrodes of the respective IGBTs are individually connected to a gate wiring conductor located on an inner wall of an insulating outer frame by gate wire leads.

    摘要: A droplet ejecting device comprises a piezoelectric transducer consisting of first and second piezoelectric transducers polarized in the directions opposite to each other, the first and second piezoelectric transducers bonded to each other and having electrodes disposed at the inner and outer surfaces thereof. A member is fitted to the piezoelectric transducer to define ink chambers, the member having an orifice associated with each ink chamber. An injection controller applies an electric field to the electrode(s) associated with the predetermined ink chamber(s) so as to eject an ink droplet(s) from the ink chamber(s) through the orifice(s) in a given position. As a result, the invention provides a droplet ejecting device where an ink ejecting cycle of the array as a whole is short, the print speed is high, and electrodes can be easily manufactured.

    摘要: A head for a piezoelectric ink jet printer includes a plurality of ejector devices for ejecting ink droplets. Each ejector device has an ink channel body defining an ink channel. The head further includes a piezoelectric actuator secured to the ink channel for actuating the ejector devices. The actuator is made up of a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic layers, a plurality of internal positive electrode layers, and a plurality of internal negative electrode layers, which are laminated in such a manner that each piezoelectric ceramic layer is sandwitched between each internal positive electrode layer and each internal negative electrode layer. At least one of the internal positive electrode layers and the internal negative electrode layers are divided into a plurality of segments so as to be provided in association with respective ones of the plurality of ejector devices. To provide a head which is simple in construction and easy to manufacture, yet capable of printing high resolution image with reduced power source voltage, the ink channel is configured to have a width larger than widths of the corresponding segmental electrode layers. The piezoelectric actuator may further include a deformation restraining member for restraining deformation of the piezoelectric actuator, whereby a low voltage driving of the head can be accomplished.

    摘要: A piezoelectric ink jet print head including a common laminar piezoelectric element disposed for activating two or mor ink jetting devices each of which has an ink chamber for ejecting a droplet of ink. The laminar piezoelectric element consists of a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic layers and a plurality of electrode layers which are alternately laminated on each other. Each piezoelectric ceramic layer is polarized in a polarizing direction perpendicular to the direction of lamination of the piezoelectric ceramic and electrode layers. A voltage is applied selectively to the electrode layers for displacing at least one of the piezoelectric ceramic layers in the polarizing direction, so as to change the volume of the ink chamber of a selected one of the ink jetting devices. The electrode layers is formed of a thermistor which has a Curie point lower than that of the piezoelectric ceramic layers and which has a positive temperature coefficient of resistance so that the thermistor is an electrically insulating material at a temperature above the Curie point thereof.

    摘要: A titanium trichloride catalytic component and a method for homo- or co-polymerization of an .alpha.-olefin. In separating a titanium trichloride catalytic component from a solution prepared by dissolving titanium tetrachloride, an organic ether compound and an organo-aluminum compound in a solvent, the above stated solvent is a mixed solvent prepared by allowing 20.about.70% by volume of an aromatic hydrocarbon halide to be concomitant with a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon and/or an alicyclic hydrocarbon in the presence of an olefin; the organo-aluminum compound, the titanium tetrachloride and the organic ether compound are added to the mixed solvent at a solvent temperature not exceeding 55.degree. C.; then, the solvent temperature is raised to a temperature between 45.degree. and 150.degree. C. over a period between 10 minutes and 24 hours; and, during this temperature raising process, an organic ether compound and/or titanium tetrachloride is further added to have a titanium trichloride catalytic component measuring 10 to 500.mu. in average particle diameter separated from the solvent. The titanium trichloride catalytic compound thus obtained is used in the homo- or co-polymerization of .alpha.-olefins. The invention aims at improvement in adjustment of the particle size, uniformity of the particle diameter and the strength of the titanium trichloride catalytic component and eventually at improvement in the particle shape and uniformity thereof of the polymer to be obtained by the use of the catalytic component.
