摘要: A live streaming system/method provides cross platform live streaming capabilities to mobile devices. The live streaming system includes a live streaming recorder operative to (1) capture a live media stream generated by a live media source and save the captured live media stream as a recorded stream in a recorded media file, and (2) transcode the recorded stream into a plurality of transcoded media files of respective different media encoding formats. The system further includes a stream distribution subsystem operative to generate a plurality of distributed media streams each generated from one or more of the transcoded media files, each distributed media stream being delivered to a corresponding set of the mobile endpoint devices.

摘要: A reflector-solar receiver assembly and methods related to the reflector-solar receiver assembly are described. The reflector-solar receiver assembly contains a reflector and a solar receiver. The reflector has a substantially planar light reflecting face and the solar receiver has a substantially planar light receiving face. The normal direction of the light reflecting face and the normal direction of the light receiving face are at an angle of about 90°. The reflector-solar receiver assembly can be installed at an installation site by placing the substantially planar light reflecting face at an angle of about γ−23.5° or about γ+23.5° from the gravitation line of the installation site, γ is the latitude of the installation site, so that the substantially planar light reflecting face reflects at least a portion of sunlight to the substantially planar light receiving face during a majority of the clear days of a year.

摘要: A safety system for grounding an operator at a fueling station prior to removing a fuel fill nozzle from a fuel tank upon completion of a fuel filling operation is provided which includes a fuel tank port in communication with the fuel tank for receiving and retaining the nozzle during the fuel filling operation and a grounding device adjacent to the fuel tank port which includes a grounding switch having a contact member that receives physical contact by the operator and where physical contact of the contact member activates the grounding switch. A releasable interlock is included that provides a lock position wherein the nozzle is locked into the port upon insertion of the nozzle into the port and a release position wherein the nozzle is releasable from the port upon completion of the fuel filling operation and after physical contact of the contact member is accomplished.

摘要: The present invention is an improvement to a cryogenic distillation process for the separation of air into its constituent components. The present invention process uses a distillation column system which comprises at least two distillation columns wherein the top of the higher pressure column is in thermal communication with the lower pressure column. The distinctive feature and improvement of the present invention comprise: (a) condensing a portion of the compressed, contaminant-free, feed air by appropriate means, such as against vaporization of liquid oxygen or other source of refrigeration; (b) using at least a portion of this liquid air as impure reflux in one of the distillation columns, and (c) removing a waste vapor stream from a location situated no more than four theoretical stages above the location where the liquid air is fed to the column, such that this waste vapor stream has a nitrogen mole fraction of less than 0.95.
