摘要: A printing head which outputs an output from a sensor device provided for monitoring various condition of a printing head as digital data, and a printing apparatus using the printing head. The output from the device for detecting condition of the printing head, e.g., information indicative of a substrate temperature, a resistance value of an electrothermal transducer, an ON resistance value of a power transistor which drives the electrothermal transducer and the like is digitized on the substrate, and outputted as digital information to the outside. Further, the digital information is outputted by utilizing a clock signal and a latch signal used for transferring print data to the printing head. This does not increase the number of wires and the area of the substrate.

摘要: The present invention can remove particles such as dust by flowing solvent gas such as CO2 through a line filter and eject it from a nozzle so as to be converted to solid particles or liquid droplets and eject to a workpiece to be cleaned so as to clean particles or organic materials. It is possible to make the solvent to a solid particle or liquid droplet by adjusting a gap between the nozzle and the workpiece to be cleaned; thus, it is possible to select the most preferable state according to the extent of the adhesion of organic material to the workpiece to be cleaned. Also, it is possible to remove particles such dust in the solvent by a line filter; thus, it is not necessary to use highly pure expensive solvent, and it is possible to reduce the running cost of the apparatus.

摘要: Satisfactory restartability has not been obtained so far because the timing of opening an exhaust valve of a cylinder under expansion stroke is adjusted for improvement of startability and a valve adjusting mechanism is always controlled in the same manner regardless of the engine status at start. In the invention, control is performed to adjust the timing of closing an intake valve so that an effective compression ratio of a cylinder under compression stroke reduces. Also, the effective compression ratio of the compression stroke cylinder is decided based on a piston position at engine restart. By varying the intake valve closing timing in the expansion stroke cylinder to reduce the effective compression ratio depending on the engine status at restart, it is possible to lessen a load imposed on a starter when the engine is restarted, and to improve startability without complicating the engine system.

摘要: In a rendering device, a processor derives an estimated path to be traced by the left- and right-rear wheels of a vehicle based on a rudder angle that is provided by a rudder angle sensor. The processor then determines positions for overlaying indicators on the derived estimated path. The processor then renders the indicators on the determined points in a captured image which is provided by an image capture device, and generates a display image. In the display image, the indicators move along the estimated path in the direction the vehicle is heading towards. In this manner, the estimated path in the display image that is generated by the rendering device becomes noticeable for a driver of the vehicle.

摘要: An optical interconnection apparatus comprises an adhesive layer having a 2-dimensional plane, and optical fibers secured on the adhesive layer. The optical fibers are routed on the adhesive layer so as to have at least one of an intersection portion, a bent portion, and a changing portion of fiber pitch, and to have a end portion outwardly projecting from the adhesive layer. The projecting end portion is used for optical interconnection. At least a portion of the circumferential edge surface of the adhesive layer is covered by a flame resistant material at an end of the optical fiber and in the vicinity thereof.

摘要: An optical amplification apparatus has a first optical amplification unit and a second optical amplification unit connected in tandem with an optical attenuator between them. A temperature sensor is located in the vicinity of an optical fiber included in the second optical amplification unit. A reference voltage generation circuit controls an automatic gain control (AGC) circuit according to an output signal of the temperature sensor Alight signal detector detects maximum or minimum power from among the powers of the wavelength components output from the second optical amplification unit. The AGC adjusts the pumping power to set maximum/minimum to a predetermined value.
