    摘要: Described herein are method and apparatus for producing instantly cookable pasta including various kinds of pasta and Chinese and Japanese noodles, and an encased instantly cookable pasta produced by such method and apparatus. According to the invention, part of raw dough of a starting mixture, which contains wheat flour as a major component, is subjected to preliminary steam-cooking, and then mixed with the remaining uncooked part of the starting mixture. The resulting mixture is then processed through shaping, steam-cooking and drying stages to obtain instantly cookable pasta, enshrouding the instantly cookable pasta product in a water-permeable casing before shipment. Due to suppression of thermal degeneration of gluten, the instantly cookable pasta possesses favorable resiliency and is free of the smell inherent to raw wheat flour and cohesion of individual pasta cords. In order to restore the cooked edible state, the encased pasta can be put in hot water together with the casing, permitting hot water to impregnate uniformly into the pasta. The water-permeable casing facilitates the handling of the pasta in cooking and improves its restorative quality to obtain cooked pasta of palatable touch and flavor.

    摘要: A movable cable plow for dredging an underwater cable groove in a sea bed is disclosed wherein the plow is attached to a main body adapted to be pulled across the sea bed, such that it is adjustable vertically and angularly with respect to the main body. This allows the acurate control of the depth of the dredge groove. Also, a cable guide is pivotably attached to the plow, by way of a torsion spring hinge pin, so as to swing laterally with respect to the plow. This minimizes the lateral forces transmitted to the main body during the turning of the apparatus and, thereby, reduces the chances of the main body tipping over during the turning operation.

    摘要: A method for adjusting the meshing position of a hypoid gear having a first gear, and a second gear meshing with the first gear and transmitting the rotary motion thereof in the direction different from the extending direction of the axis of rotation of the first gear. The method for adjusting the meshing position comprises; a) a step for displacing the second gear a plurality of times along the axial direction of rotation while meshing with the first gear, b) a step for measuring the transmission error at each displacement position and plotting the relation of the displacement distance of the second gear and the measured transmission error, c) a step for evaluating the virtual transmission error between the measured transmission errors from the measured transmission error, d) a step for subtracting the measured transmission error and the virtual transmission error from a maximum allowable transmission error to determine the difference, e) a step for determining the area of a part surrounded by the difference and the maximum allowable transmission error by integrating the difference with the displacement distance of the second gear, and f) a step for dividing the part at a predetermined area ratio and setting a point where the division line intersects the displacement distance of the second gear at the meshing position of the second gear.
