摘要: A content purchase processing terminal achieves smooth purchase processing of content without the need for burdensome interactions between a content distributor and a user who wants to purchase the content. A content purchase processing terminal includes a secret information managing section for managing secret information on the user and the terminal, an authentication processing section for authenticating whether metadata selected by the user has been issued by the distributor, and a purchase processing section for requesting the purchase processing of the content by means of the secret information from the secret information managing section when the metadata is successfully authenticated.

摘要: A graft copolymer produced by polymerizing 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, or monomer mixture containing the monomer, by using initiator produced by copolymerizing (A) N-vinyllactam or styrene and (B) peroxy-fumarate or combination of the peroxy-fumarate and diester of fumaric acid, the peroxy-fumarate being represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R1 is a linear alkyl, branched alkyl or cycloalkyl group containing not more than 18 carbon atoms, or an aromatic hydrocarbon group containing 6 to carbon atoms; and R2 is a linear alkyl, branched alkyl or cycloalkyl group containing not more than 13 carbon atoms, or a phenyl group.A solution for treating a contact lens, including the above graft copolymer and a solvent dissolving the copolymer. A method of treating a contact lens, comprising the step of wetting a surface of the contact lens with the above solution, and the step of contacting the wetted surface with a poor solvent, thereby modifying the hydrophobic contact lens surface into a hydrophilic surface.

摘要: To provide a content distribution system which inhibits execution of processing which is unnecessary for streams having specific structures. The content distribution system includes a distribution server and a playback apparatus. The distribution server transmits a program stream and a program state flag associated with the program stream that indicates whether or not program content corresponding to the program stream is constituted of only 3D video. The playback apparatus determines, prior to decoding the program stream, whether or not the program state flag indicates that the program content is constituted of only 3D video, and when determining that the program content is constituted of only 3D video, decodes the program stream and performs control so as to play back the program stream as 3D video without determining whether or not each frame included in the program stream is a 3D video frame.
