    摘要: A robot hand changer has a first joint member mounted on a robot arm, a second joint member mounted on a robot hand, and an engaging member mounted on the first joint member and angularly movable with respect to the second joint member for coupling the first and second joint members against each other. The robot hand changer also has an optical signal transmission device including sets of optical fibers disposed in confronting relation out of contact with each other for transmitting control signals across mating surfaces when the robot arm and the robot hand are coupled to each other, and photoelectric transducer circuits for converting electric signals to optical signals and vice versa. The robot hand arm further includes a detecting device for detecting dirt on the mating surface.

    摘要: An exhaust gas purifying catalyst includes a metal-containing silicate and a noble metal active species carried by the metal-containing silicate. The metal-containing silicate has a solid acid characteristic wherein the amount of acid within a region where an acidity function Ho is equal to or smaller than -3.0 ranges from 0.04 to 0.55 mmol/gr. The noble metal active species burns an hydrocarbon component of exhaust gases to decompose an NOx component also contained in the exhaust gases. The catalyst may include a binder for carrying the noble metal active species on the metal-containing silicate. The binder has a solid acid characteristic wherein the amount of acid within a region where the acidity function Ho is equal to or smaller than -3.0 ranges from 0.04 to 0.55 mmol/gr.

    摘要: A constant velocity universal joint includes an outer joint member in which at least one end portion is open, an inner joint member for transmitting torque together with the outer joint member through balls under a state in which angular displacement is allowed, and a boot for closing an opening portion of the outer joint member. The boot has a small diameter end portion fitted onto a shaft extending from the inner joint member, a lip portion abutting on an outer peripheral surface of the shaft, and a ventilation groove for establishing communication between an inside and an outside of the boot. The lip portion and the ventilation groove are formed in an inner peripheral surface of the small diameter end portion of the boot.

    摘要: In an imaging apparatus, a JPEG coding unit makes JPEG data by respectively compressing plural images obtained from an imaging device. A code retention unit retains each JPEG data. A thumbnail data creation unit creates a thumbnail from each of the images. A thumbnail retention unit retains the thumbnail. A feature point detection unit detects a feature point from the thumbnail. A partial image decode unit respectively decodes zones including the feature points from each JPEG data. A displacement amount calculation unit obtains positional information of feature points in the decoded individual zones and calculates a displacement amount of each JPEG data based on the positional information.
