摘要： A combined braking system in which communicative connection a master cylinder and a brake caliper is cut off by an electromagnetic on-off valve, and hydraulic pressure, corresponding to driving conditions and a braking operation, is generated by an electrically-operated actuator of a hydraulic pressure modulator. Hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic pressure modulator operates on the brake caliper, whereas a psuedo-reaction force which has been generated by a reaction force modulator operates on the master cylinder. The reaction force modulator is configured to include: a fluid chamber for receiving hydraulic fluid which has flowed therein from the master cylinder; a piston to constitute a wall of the fluid chamber; and a metal-made coil spring and a deformed plastic resin spring, both of which apply a force to the piston. The braking system provides a braking operation having a smooth feeling which is similar to that given by a direct-operation-type brake system.

摘要： A brake system includes a front and a rear wheel brake circuit which are independent of each other. Each circuit includes: a master cylinder connected to a brake caliper through the main brake line; a hydraulic pressure modulator which causes an electrically-operated motor to generate hydraulic pressure; and a normally-open electromagnetic on-off valve. When the two brake circuits are moved in response to operation of a braking operation unit in one circuit, in the brake circuit for which a braking operation unit was operated earlier, the electromagnetic on-off valve opens so that the brake caliper is operated by use of hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder. In the other brake circuit, the electromagnetic on-off valve is closed so that the brake caliper is operated by use of hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pressure modulator. The braking system uses simple wheel braking mechanism and piping, and concurrently reduces electric current consumption.

摘要： A video signal conversion part of a horizontal deflection circuit deletes a prescribed number of horizontal scanning lines from a vertical blanking interval of an input video signal and assigns a time corresponding to the deleted horizontal scanning lines to horizontal blanking intervals of the remaining horizontal scanning lines thereby extending the horizontal blanking interval of each horizontal scanning line and outputting a video signal. A synchronizing signal separation circuit extracts a horizontal synchronizing signal and a vertical synchronizing signal from the video signal output from the video signal conversion part. An output part of the horizontal deflection circuit supplies a sawtooth horizontal deflection current to a horizontal deflection yoke in synchronization with the horizontal synchronizing signal output from the synchronizing signal separation circuit.

摘要： A braking device for the motorcycle is configured to permit actuation control in an interlocking manner of a rear-wheel brake caliper and a front-wheel brake caliper based on an operation of a brake pedal. The braking device includes a hydraulic pressure detector for detecting rear-wheel brake hydraulic pressure caused by the operation of the brake pedal; a determining portion that determines whether or not a detected value by the hydraulic pressure detector is a predetermined value or more; and a hydraulic pressure controller that, when it is determined by the determining portion that the detected value is the predetermined value or more, changes a rising rate of the rear-wheel brake hydraulic pressure to a value lower than a rising rate during a period until the time when the rear-wheel brake hydraulic pressure reaches the predetermined value to control the rear-wheel brake hydraulic pressure, and also controls front-wheel brake hydraulic pressure.

摘要： A hydraulic modulator including a motor having a motor housing, a stator, a rotor, and a motor shaft. A power transmitting mechanism is provided for transmitting the power of the motor to the outside thereof. A master cylinder includes a piston linearly movable by the power transmitted by the power transmitting mechanism. The master cylinder is arranged so as to overlap the motor housing in such a manner that the axis of the master cylinder is substantially perpendicular to the axis of the motor shaft. The master cylinder is arranged on one side of the motor housing in the range corresponding to the axial length of the motor shaft. The length of the hydraulic modulator along the motor shaft falls within the axial length of the motor shaft, so that the hydraulic modulator can be reduced in size.
