摘要: Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for touch, force and/or thermal sensing by an ultrasonic transceiver chip. In some aspects, an ultrasonic transceiver sensor device includes a semiconductor substrate; a CMOS layer attached to the substrate; an array of piezoelectric transducers coupled to the CMOS layer to generate ultrasonic pulses; and a contact layer attached to the substrate on a side opposite the substrate for providing a surface for contact with an object, where an ultrasonic pulse generated by a piezoelectric transducer propagates through the substrate and the contact layer, such that when the object is in contact with the surface of the contact layer, a reflected ultrasonic pulse is produced and propagates through the contact layer and the substrate to be received at the array of piezoelectric transducers, and the CMOS layer receive and process outputs from the piezoelectric transducers produced in response to the received reflected ultrasonic pulses.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for generating resolution-enhanced space-domain image of a target sample based on optical coherent tomography (OCT) imaging technologies are disclosed. In an aspect, a system includes a processing platform comprising one or more processing devices operatively coupled to one or more memory devices. The processing platform is configured to acquire a plurality of related sets of optical coherence tomography (OCT) image data for a target object volume, reconstruct space-domain OCT images for each of the plurality of sets of OCT image data, coherently average the reconstructed space-domain OCT images to suppress noise or enhance a signal-to-noise ratio, and computationally expand a spatial bandwidth of the coherent-averaged OCT image data via deconvolution.

摘要: A composition comprising the following structure: (1) wherein Re represents a rhenium ion having a +1 charge; (I) represents an uncharged bidentate ligand containing at least one ring containing a ring nitrogen atom bound to the rhenium (Re), and the bidentate ligand containing another nitrogen atom, either in a ring or not in a ring, bound to the rhenium (Re); and L1, L2, L3, and L4 are neutral ligands with at least one neutral ligand being an isonitrile ligand of the formula —CN—R, wherein R is an aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon group containing 1-20 carbon atoms; and X− represents a non-coordinating monovalent anion; wherein the bidentate ligand and R are optionally substituted by one or more groups selected from (i)-(xi) as further discussed above. Methods for treating a condition that benefits from ER stress induction, such as cancer, by administering the above rhenium complex are also disclosed.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to methods of detecting cell-free DNA (cfDNA) in biological samples and using it to quantify organ damage and identify pathogens. In some aspects, the biological samples are from patients who have undergone solid-organ transplantation. The disclosure is also directed to methods of detecting and analyzing methylation patterns in cell-free DNA from organ transplant patients to identify the presence of pathogens as well as quantify contributing tissue proportions as a measurement of the host response.
