    摘要: An information recording medium comprising a substrate having a recording surface provided with emboss pits or guiding grooves, a reflective film formed on the recording surface of the substrate, and a first protective film formed on the reflective film. This information recording medium is featured in that both sides of the information recording medium are constituted by a first surface provided with the protective film and by a second surface formed opposite to the first surface, and that an irradiated light beam is irradiated through the first surface, a recorded information being reproduced based on changes in light intensity of the reflected light beam. The distance between the recording surface of the substrate and the light incident surface is smaller than a thickness of the substrate, and a surface roughness “R” of the light incident surface meets a relationship represented by the following formula (1): R≦λ/(8n)  (1) wherein λ is a wavelength of the light beam, and n is a refractive index of the first protective film to a light having the wavelength λ.

    摘要: In order to control a warp of a disc substrate so as to be a desired level, an optical disc production method includes: a step of supplying resin on the disc substrate; a step of mounting the disc substrate on an inside diameter portion of a turntable after supplying the resin; a step of providing an air-gap between an outside diameter portion of the turntable and a portion of the disc substrate that is not mounted; a step of extending the resin by spinning; and a curing step of curing the resin while spinning the disc substrate mounted on the inside diameter portion of the turntable, wherein in the step of extending the resin, a negative pressure is affected on a portion of the disc substrate that is not mounted, and in the curing step, the warp is controlled by curing the resin on the spinning disc substrate while maintaining effect of the negative pressure.

    摘要: Techniques for producing optical medium that can be read at substantially high speeds with greater stability and accuracy are disclosed. According to one aspect of the techniques, a bonding station is employed with what is referred to as a bubble-free bonding technique that may or may not be incorporated with an index bonding technique. The index bonding is provided to ensure that non-flatness of substrates is compensated when two substrates are bonded together so as to minimize possible dynamic imbalance of a disc. The bubble-free bonding technique is provided to generate an alternating electromagnetic field that eliminates bubbles from a type of glue used to bond two substrates, wherein a high voltage source is used to generate the alternating electromagnetic field of a predefine magnitude.

    摘要: An easy and low-cost method of manufacturing a thin substrate reduced in surface wobbling by bonding two thin sheets together is provided. A step of bonding thin substrate sheets together is performed by using a device in which a spacer is incorporated into a turntable provided with a through-hole for air inflow. The thin substrate sheets are rotated on the turntable, to spin off and cure an adhesive for bonding.

    摘要: An integration device for a compact disk has a reversing element and an elevator. The reversing element has a first engine, an arm and a first seat, whereby the arm is rotated reversely in turn. The elevator has a second seat, a base, a second suction disk and a second engine. A shaft mounted in a center of the second suction disk and inserted into the hole, whereby the second suction disk is driven to rotate or lift. Hence, the first base is raised exactly facing the second base so that the first base can be directly adjacent to the second base face to face thereby avoiding generating bubbles to enable glue to distribute evenly and result in the compact disk with an even thickness.
