摘要: A poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) solid-state extrusion molded article having a weight average molecular weight of from 100,000 to 380,000 and a melt viscosity of from 20 to 2,000 Pa·s (at a temperature of 240° C. and a shear rate of 120 sec−1) and having an L-form content of from 80 to 100%, the article having a thickness or diameter of from 10 to 500 mm and a tensile strength of from 5 to 100 MPa at a temperature of 66° C. (the article may contain a filler and have a tensile strength of from 5 to 200 MPa); a downhole tool member or a ball sealer for well drilling and completion formed by machining the solid-state extrusion molded article; an isolation plug provided with the downhole tool member; and a production method for a PLLA solid-state extrusion molded article comprising steps of supplying a resin material containing a PLLA to an extruder, solid-state extrusion molding the material, pressurizing the solid-state extrusion molded product, drawing the pressurized product while applying a back pressure in the direction of a forming die to suppress the expansion of the solid-state extrusion molded product; and a well drilling and completion method.

摘要: A completion assembly designed to perforate a section of casing along a wellbore, comprises a perforating gun, a canister, and a locator device. The canister contains ball sealers that are dimensioned to seal perforations, while the locator device is a casing collar locator that senses the location of the assembly within the wellbore based on the spacing of casing collars. The completion assembly also includes an on-board controller configured to send an actuation signal to the perforating gun to cause one or more detonators to fire when the locator has recognized a selected location of the completion assembly, thereby perforating the casing, and to release the ball sealers from the canister. Methods for seamlessly perforating and fracturing multiple zones along a wellbore are also provided, using a select-fire perforating gun.

摘要: Wellbore tubulars including selective stimulation ports (SSPs) sealed with sealing devices and methods of operating the same are disclosed herein. The wellbore tubulars include a tubular body that defines a tubular conduit and a plurality of selective stimulation ports. Each selective stimulation port includes an SSP conduit and a sealing device seat. The wellbore tubulars further include a plurality of sealing devices. Each sealing device includes a primary sealing portion that is seated on a corresponding sealing device seat and forms a primary seal with the corresponding sealing device seat. Each sealing device also includes a secondary sealing portion that extends from the primary sealing portion and forms a secondary seal between the primary sealing portion and the corresponding sealing device seat. The methods include methods of stimulating a subterranean formation utilizing the wellbore tubulars.

摘要: A well screen can include multiple filter section ends, the filter section ends being displaced outward in response to expansion of the well screen, and a slurry delivery shunt conduit positioned circumferentially between the filter section ends. A method of delivering a slurry into a wellbore about a well screen can include positioning slurry delivery shunt conduits between multiple circumferentially spaced apart filter sections of the well screen, the filter sections radially outwardly displacing in a well, and flowing the slurry through the shunt conduits. A well system can include multiple well screens positioned in a wellbore, and shunt conduits which deliver a slurry into the wellbore about the well screens, the shunt conduits being positioned circumferentially between filter sections of the well screens.

Mineral particles may be utilized in methods that include introducing a wellbore fluid having a density of about 7 ppg to about 50 ppg into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation, the wellbore fluid comprising a base fluid and a plurality of mineral particles, and the wellbore fluid having a first viscosity; contacting at least some of the mineral particles with a linking agent so as to link the at least some of the mineral particles, thereby increasing the first viscosity to a second viscosity.
