摘要: A radiator restraining assembly which permits limited flexing of the radiator while retaining it in its desired position. The radiator restraining assembly generally comprises a ring mounted to the radiator, a resilient bushing within the ring, and a fastener inserted into the bushing. The fastener includes a bearing portion which engages a washer element that is positioned between the bearing portion and the bushing. The restraining assembly holds the radiator in a desired position while allowing flexing of the unit about the axis of the fastener. Moreover, the construction provides longevity to the flexing and shock absorbing characteristics of the assembly.

摘要: A radiator is laterally mounted between a pair of right and left frames arranged parallel to each other. The radiator has an upper tank and a lower tank and is mounted onto the frames by means of pins and brackets, the pins going through orifices in the brackets. No particular fitting work is required. The number of the fastening elements for mounting the radiator is reduced and the assembly may be carried out more easily because the radiator may be mounted from the outside of the frames. Further, there are provided two upper and bottom discontinuous spaces formed by a shroud which surrounds the outside of the radiator, and heat generated when the engine is idle, may be dissipated.

摘要: A heat exchanger has a core comprising flat tubes with corrugated fins provided in spaces between tubes. An end mounting arrangement includes a mounting bracket for attachment to a housing. A fin support structure comprises a plurality of support walls and a plurality of axial walls, wherein each of the support walls is integrally joined to at least one of the axial walls, each of the support walls is in contact with the endmost corrugation of one of the fins, and each of the axial walls is in contact with one of the plate pairs. The fin support structure may have a corrugated structure, and is mounted at the end of the core at which the mounting bracket is provided, so as to support and minimize damage to the corrugated fins caused by bypass air flowing between the mounting bracket and the core.

摘要: A method for producing plate arrangements and using these for cooling gaseous blow-off in electric installation devices, produces a plate stack, which is formed in a cuboidal shape, with a stack length and a stack width. The plate stack is made of shaped rectangular sheets which are produced using a shaping process and are sheet-metal strips of a uniform thickness. First shaped sheets with a uniform length which corresponds to the stack length and second shaped sheets with a width which corresponds maximally to the stack width are used. The shaped sheets are stacked one on top of the other after being shaped such that multiple continuous cavities, i.e., slots, are formed in the longitudinal direction of the stack parallel to the uniform length, and the shaped sheets are connected to one another in a captive mariner so as to form a self-supporting structure of a plate stack.

摘要: A heat exchanging device has a single extruded part made as a tubular body with external and internal radial branches. The tubular body has longitudinal round holes in a circumferential direction. At least one mount is on the outer surface of the tubular body. Internal and external radial branches taper from the base to the edge of branches and are made sinusoidal with a constant step and amplitude. They can be of the same width from the base to the edge of branches. The sinusoids of external radial branches can be of a variable amplitude and step from the base to the edge. The external radial sinusoidal branches can be of a different length relative and at different distances from each other. The radial branches can be have additional undulating projections. The round holes are made along the entire circumference of the body at equal distances from each other.

摘要: A covering for use with an outdoor located unit defining an opening which exhibits a plurality of cold temperature sensitive components such as heat dissipating coils or cooling tower coils. A plurality of fasteners are secured to a face of the unit at locations proximate to at least one surrounding side of the opening. The fasteners secure to perimeter extending locations associated with an impermeable layer of material arranged over the opening in order to prevent air movement, ice, and snow through said opening in contact with the coils.
