Abstract:
A medium discharging device includes a medium stacking portion, a medium discharge member and a moving mechanism. A medium having an image recorded thereon is to be stacked on the medium stacking portion. The medium discharge member discharges the medium to the medium stacking portion. The moving mechanism includes a separation member. Based on a discharge timing at which the medium is discharged from the medium discharge member, the separation member moves the medium discharge member between an advanced position at a downstream end in the medium conveyance direction and a retracted position that is located upstream of the advanced position in the medium conveyance direction, to separate from the medium discharge member a rear end of the discharged medium in the medium conveyance direction.
Abstract:
A handover parameter control apparatus in each cell of a cellular system having a condition in which if power received by a mobile terminal from a neighbor base station and power received from an access base station, to which the mobile terminal is connected, have power difference greater than or equal to a threshold, the mobile terminal executes handover from an access cell belonging to the access base station to a neighbor cell belonging to the neighbor base station. The apparatus includes a threshold control weight computation unit that computes a threshold control weight which indicates a threshold control direction so as to reduce handover failures, by using a frequency of first-type handover failure events which reduces by increasing the threshold; and a frequency of second-type handover failure events which reduces by decreasing the threshold; and a threshold determination unit that determines the threshold based on the threshold control weight.

An initial access setting information generating apparatus includes a preamble information transmission number obtaining unit that receives and obtains the number of transmissions for preamble information in a non-contention type initial access procedure performed between a base station and a communication terminal, where the preamble information transmission number obtaining unit receives and obtains the number of transmissions after the initial access procedure is completed; an expected reception power determination unit that determines an expected reception power at the base station, based on the number of transmissions for the preamble information, which is obtained by the preamble information transmission number obtaining unit; and a set value communication unit that generates and outputs initial access setting information about the initial access procedure for the communication terminal, based on the expected reception power determined by the expected reception power determination unit.
Abstract:
An electromagnetic control valve has a passage for conducting fluid. An electromagnetic actuator generates an electromagnetic force. A main valve body opens and closes the passage in accordance with the electromagnetic force generated by the electromagnetic actuator. A bypass is formed in the main valve body. A sub valve body opens and closes the bypass in accordance with the electromagnetic force generated by the electromagnetic actuator. The electromagnetic force generated by the electromagnetic actuator is adjusted such that the sub valve body is opened and closed while the main valve body closes the passage.
Abstract:
Tanks of a first heat exchanger have plane sections perpendicular to bottoms having a plurality of tube insertion holes formed therein. Tanks of a second heat exchanger with circular cross sections have bottoms having a plurality of tube insertion holes formed therein. The axes of the tube insertion holes of the first and second heat exchangers are held in parallel with each other. The second heat exchanger is in contact with the plane sections of the first heat exchanger tank.
Abstract:
A data driven type instruction execution method for controlling execution of instructions by using a memory storing an input data available source, an output message destination to which the results of the operation performed are sent and an input data number counters for indicating availability of the input data to each of the instructions. A flag indicating the number of input data required for each instruction is not less than two, an input data number counter for the instruction requiring two or more input data and an initialization table for setting an initial value of the counter. The content of the flag is referred and deciding that the instruction can be executed when the flag indicates the input data number of one. The input data counter is decremented when the input data number is two or more, and deciding that the instruction can be executed when the decrement of the input data counter results in zero. Operation is executed starting from the instruction which the input data are complete, the result of the operation being informed to the output message destination. The instruction is registered in the queue when executable. Execution of the instruction is performed by taking out it from the queue.
Abstract:
Sucrose fatty acid polyesters are produced by heating a molten mixture of sucrose, fatty acid lower alkyl ester, transesterification catalyst, fatty acid alkali metal soap and/or sucrose fatty acid ester. Sucrose fatty acid polyesters are purified by acidifying the reaction product and subjecting the acidified reaction product to molecular distillation whereby the sucrose fatty acid polyesters are recovered as the residue.
Abstract:
An analog-state video signal is inputted from each of several in-vehicle cameras via a corresponding signal cable. An amendment amount for making uniform signal levels of the analog-state video signals originating from the respective in-vehicle cameras is determined, with respect to each of the analog-state video signals, based on a burst signal included in each analog-state video signal. According to the determined amendment amounts, the analog-state video signals are amplified to make uniform the signal levels, obtaining analog-state uniformed video signals, respectively. A composite image of combining images originating from the in-vehicle cameras is generated based on the obtained analog-state uniformed video signals.
Abstract:
The present invention is characterized in that a casing 2 connected to an exhaust system 8, a honeycomb filter 3 placed in the inside of the casing 2, the honeycomb filter having a plurality of cells partitioned by partition walls, and plasma generation electrodes 6 placed being faced each other by sandwiching the honeycomb filter there are included, particulate matter contained in an exhaust gas is collected by the honeycomb filter 3, nitrogen monoxide contained in the exhaust gas is oxidized to nitrogen dioxide by nonthermal plasma generated between a pulse electrode 4 and an earth electrode 5 constituting the plasma generation electrodes 6, combustible materials in the particulate matter collected and deposited on the surface of the partition walls are removed through oxidation by the nitrogen dioxide produced. As a result, the honeycomb filter 3 can be regenerated.
Abstract:
An editing apparatus, and a bit rate control method and program are capable of converting a material bit rate of video material to a desired output bit rate without picture quality deterioration in a short time and simply. According to this invention, a bit rate determination unit 2 compares a material bit rate of entered video material S1 to be edited with an output bit rate. In a case where the output bit rate is larger than the material bit rate, the null data insertion unit 5 adds meaningless data to the material data of the video material to convert the material bit rate to the output bit rate. As a result, the material data of the video material S1 can be output without picture quality deterioration with the material bit rate converted to the output bit rate.
