Abstract: A visible light sensor may be configured to sense environmental characteristics of a space using an image of the space. The visible light sensor may be controlled in one or more modes, including a daylight glare sensor mode, a daylighting sensor mode, a color sensor mode, and/or an occupancy/vacancy sensor mode. In the daylight glare sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to decrease or eliminate glare within a space. In the daylighting sensor mode and the color sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to provide a preferred amount of light and color temperature, respectively, within the space. In the occupancy/vacancy sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to detect an occupancy/vacancy condition within the space and adjust one or more control devices according to the occupation or vacancy of the space. The visible light sensor may be configured to protect the privacy of users within the space via software, a removable module, and/or a special sensor.

Abstract: A process for securely coordinating different image capture devices at an event so that images captured may be vetted and redisplayed for all participants to view in near real-time. The process includes a group of image capture devices, wirelessly communicating to a remote server that is located at the event. The server coordinates the devices in the group, consolidating the captured images from all the devices and presenting them to an event hoster for their approval so that they can be redisplayed to all participants at the event through a display system, which may include one or more of the capture devices.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides devices and techniques for processing a media capture stream captured by a camera device using a chain device media foundation transform (DMFT). The techniques include configuring multiple DMFTs such that an original manufacturer (OEM) may have flexibility in independently selecting various functionalities from different sources (e.g., OS, OEM, IHV, ISV, or VARs) in order to maximize hardware capabilities while minimizing the drawbacks of creating a single DMFT. To that end, the implementation of the present disclosure includes a devices and techniques of chainable DMFTs such that a device transform manager may select a set of functionalities (e.g., face recognition, color effects, etc.) from multiple vendors to customize the camera's capabilities according to the OEM specification.

Abstract: A method is provided for checking an image inspection system having a camera system with a camera, an illumination apparatus for targeted illumination of a printing substrate, an image processing computer, and a main computer, for quality control of products of a printing substrate processing machine by using the main computer. A reference image is entered and transmitted to the main computer, a current printing image recorded by the camera system is transmitted to the image processing computer, a partial image in a suitable region of the current printing image, not being printed with printing image data, is selected in the image processing computer, the partial image is analyzed by comparison with the reference image in the image processing computer, and the inspection system is assessed based on the analysis of the partial image by the main computer and any defects of the inspection system being found are indicated.

Abstract: The disclosure is relating to a method and a system for remote management of a location-based spatial object. The system includes a database and a server. The server provides a remote management interface such as in a form of an electronic map or a street view. The interface allows a subscriber to remotely set multiple spatial information for one spatial object. The server receives the spatial object and its corresponding spatial information from the subscriber over a network, combined with various search criteria relating to the spatial object, resulting in the establishment of consolidated information for the location-based spatial object in the database. The system allows an end user to search the location-based spatial object using a mobile device at any place, and the user can obtain the spatial object combined with an instant real scene image.
