摘要: A catheter system (100) for treating a treatment site (106) within or adjacent to a vessel wall (108A) of a blood vessel (108) within a body (107) of a patient (109) includes an energy source (124), a catheter fluid (132), and an emitter assembly (129). The energy source (124) generates energy. The emitter assembly (129) includes (i) at least a portion of an energy guide (122A) having a guide distal end (122D) that is selectively positioned near the treatment site (106), (ii) a plasma generator (133), and (iii) an emitter housing (260) that is secured to each of the energy guide (122A) and the plasma generator (133) to maintain a relative position between the guide distal end (122D) of the energy guide (122A) and the plasma generator (133). The energy guide (122A) is configured to receive energy from the energy source (124) and direct the energy toward the plasma generator (133) to generate a plasma bubble (134) in the catheter fluid (132). The plasma generator (133) directs energy from the plasma bubble (134) toward the treatment site (106).

摘要: A photoacoustic catheter adapted for placement within a blood vessel having a vessel wall includes an elongate shaft, a balloon and a photoacoustic transducer. The elongate shaft can extend from a proximal region to a distal region. The elongate shaft can include a light guide that is configured to be placed in optical communication with a light source. The balloon is coupled to the elongate shaft, and can be configured to expand from a collapsed configuration suitable for advancing the photoacoustic catheter through a patient's vasculature to a first expanded configuration suitable for anchoring the photoacoustic catheter in position relative to a treatment site. The photoacoustic transducer can be disposed on a surface of the balloon and in optical communication with the light guide. The photoacoustic transducer can include a light-absorbing material and a thermal expansion material.

摘要: Provided is a laser ablation catheter, including a laser optical fiber bundle, an adjustable head, an outer tube, an overtube and a connector. The outer tube wraps the laser fiber bundle. The adjustable head includes an adjustable stent, the adjustable stent is made of a shape memory material and is sleeved outside one end of the outer tube. The connector is connected to the other end of the outer tube, and the laser fiber bundle can be connected to a laser generator through the connector. The overtube is sleeved outside the adjustable stent for compressing the adjustable stent. At least one end of the adjustable stent is a movable end, and the movable end is slidingly connected to the outer tube. When the overtube is withdrawn, the movable end can provide conditions for the deformation of the adjustable stent.

摘要: Systems, devices, and methods for determining advancement of a surgical laser fiber in an endoscope and providing interlocking feedback for the surgical laser are disclosed. An exemplary method includes directing light from a distal end of an endoscope to a target, optically detecting an amount of the light reflected from the target, transmitting the optically detected amount of light through a laser fiber extending through a working channel of the endoscope, determining, based on the optically detected amount of light, a position of a distal end of the laser fiber relative to the distal end of the endoscope, and generating a control signal to the surgical laser system to adjust laser emission through the laser fiber.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a fat-removing surgical instrument. The present disclosure additionally arranges/provides, on a lipolyzed fat suction passage of a wave-guide tube, an optical fiber support which is made from an insulating material and which supports optical fibers in a restrained state while fixed to the wave-guide tube, so that the optical fibers are prevented from being deformed and coming in contact with the wave-guide tube, and thus, the optical fibers are induced, even though a variety of factors (for example, weight, contact with human tissue and the like) are applied to the optical fibers during fat removal surgery, to effectively avoid coming in direct contact with the wave-guide tube and being damaged thereby, while a series of deformations (for example, a curved shape and the like) are inhibited/controlled, on the basis of forceful restraint of the optical fiber support.
