摘要: A method of fabricating a microlens array, the method comprising the steps of: compressing a shape memory polymer substrate with a predetermined load; indenting the shape memory polymer substrate to form an array of micro-indents; immersing the shape memory polymer substrate in a solvent capable of causing stress-enhanced swelling in the shape memory polymer substrate such that the array of micro-indents forms a corresponding array of micro-protrusions on the shape memory polymer substrate due to the stress-enhanced swelling of the micro-indents; and heating the shape memory polymer substrate to form at least one curved surface of the shape memory polymer substrate under the micro-protrusion array.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to preventing the propagation of light to improve the display quality of the light emitting device. A light emitting device according to an embodiment has a case, a base member disposed at a front side of the case, a plurality of light emitting elements mounted at the front side of the base member, and a cover covering the light emitting elements. The cover has a light transmissive member integrally covering the plurality of light emitting elements, and a light-blocking member disposed at a front side of the light transmissive member and having openings anterior to the light emitting elements respectively. Further, the light transmissive member has, on its back surface, a back-side rough surface portion in a region different from the region facing the front surfaces of the light emitting elements.

摘要: A safety device for a medical injector supporting a needle projecting forwardly from the front of an injector body has a tubular sleeve which is slidable rearwardly with respect to a supported needle to expose at least the needle tip. The sleeve has a forward end for contacting an injection site and a removable cover for a needle is attached to the forward end of the sleeve. The sleeve may have an external end face lying in a radial plane with an orifice in the end face and through which a needle may project when the device is in use and the sleeve slides rearwardly. The removable cover may be attached to or otherwise be connected to the external end face, to effect a seal therewith. Alternatively, the cover may frictionally engage the forward end of the sleeve or the cover may have a bore into which an enlargement member may be pressed so as to expand the cover within the sleeve and effect a connection thereto.

摘要: A container has a base panel, at least one side panel extending upwardly from the base panel, and at least one end panel extending upwardly from the base panel. At least one corner is formed at a junction between the side panel and end panel. A flange extends laterally outward from the upper edges of at least one of the side panel, end panel, and corner. An injection-molded structure extends along at least a portion of the flange, the injection-molded structure includes a base portion adjacent the upper edges of the side wall and the end wall, a distal portion extending laterally outward from the base portion, and an indentation in the distal portion extending along at least a portion of the flange of the container. An apparatus for forming the container and a method of manufacturing are also disclosed.
