摘要: A rubber composition capable of forming a foam such as a roller main body which has a low rubber hardness and is soft in a state in which an average cell diameter thereof is small is provided. The rubber composition includes NBR whose Mooney viscosity is 15 to 50 having a proportion being 10 parts by mass or more in 100 parts by mass of the total amount of rubber, epichlorohydrin rubber whose Mooney viscosity is 5 to 35 having a proportion being 10 parts by mass or more in 100 parts by mass of the total amount of rubber, and 10 parts by mass or less of carbon black and 7 parts by mass or less of a foaming agent with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total amount of rubber, and has a Mooney viscosity of 35 or less.

摘要: A curable composition, includes a diluent, an epoxy functionalized resin derived from a nutshell oil, an epoxy-rubber copolymer adduct, and a curing agent. There is disclosed a method for making the curable composition, a method of imbuing improved flexibility to a curable composition and a method for improving oily metal adhesion of a curable composition. The method of imbuing improved flexibility to a curable composition includes providing a curable composition, adding an epoxy functionalized resin derived from a nutshell oil and adding a liquid modified hydrocarbon resin derived from a nutshell oil.

摘要: Provided is a composition for a gas seal member that can form a gas seal member for a high-pressure hydrogen device that is capable of sufficiently inhibiting both swelling destruction and blister destruction. The composition for a gas seal member is a composition for a gas seal member used in a high-pressure hydrogen environment and contains an elastomer and fibrous carbon nanostructures. The fibrous carbon nanostructures are contained in a proportion of not less than 1 part by mass and not more than 10 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the elastomer. An area fraction S (%) of aggregates of the fibrous carbon nanostructures in a cross-section of the composition for a gas seal member and a volume percentage V (volume %) of the fibrous carbon nanostructures in the composition for a gas seal member satisfy a relationship 0≤S/V≤2.0.

摘要: The present invention provides a rubber composition for a hose, the rubber composition including acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) as one rubber component, wherein the rubber composition for a hose is characterized in that said NBR component includes acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber having a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 280,000 or higher (specific high-molecular-weight NBR), said acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (specific high-molecular-weight NBR) accounts for at least 60% by mass of the rubber component, and the acrylonitrile content included in the rubber component is 25-32% by mass. It is possible to provide a rubber composition that has improved toughness at high temperatures and exceptional heat resistance, oil resistance, and kink resistance, and that can be used especially suitably as the inner rubber of a hydraulic hose.

摘要: A thermoplastic elastomer composition is disclosed that includes an elastomer and a non-elastomeric polyolefin, which is functionalized with an anhydride of an organic carboxylic acid. Furthermore, the use of a mixture of an elastomer and a cross-linking agent for the elastomer for producing a thermoplastic elastomer composition are disclose. A further subject of the invention is the use of a non-elastomeric polyolefin which is functionalized with an anhydride of an organic carboxylic acid for producing a thermoplastic elastomer composition according to the invention. In addition, the invention relates to the use of a thermoplastic elastomer composition according to the invention for producing an article/composite material with a polyamide. The invention also relates to a process for producing a thermoplastic elastomer composition according to the invention as well as a composite material made of the thermoplastic elastomer composition according to the invention with a polyamide.

摘要: The invention relates to the field of chemistry and to the blends that can by way of example be used for rolls and roll coverings in the printing, textile, paper and graphic industry. The problem addressed by the present invention is provision of blends that have improved physical properties, and of a simple low-cost process with low energy consumption for producing same. The problem is solved via blends of thermoplastic polyurethanes and rubbers, consisting of rubber and from 5 to 80% by weight of thermoplastic polyurethanes, where the materials intermesh with one another in the regions of contact between rubber and polyurethanes. The problem is further solved via a process in which at least one rubber and from 5 to 80% by weight of polyurethane precursors are mixed and homogenized, where the precursors are prepolymers made of polyisocyanate(s) and of macroglyeol(s) and at least one chain extender, and/or monomers of polyisocyanates, of macroglycols and of chain extenders.

The slurry composition for a secondary battery electrode contains an electrode active material, a conductive material, the aforementioned binder composition for a secondary battery electrode, and a polymer other than the aforementioned copolymer.
