Abstract: The present invention relates to a carboxylation catalyst, which catalyzes carboxylation of a furan-based compound containing a hydroxyl group and a carbonyl group or a derivative thereof to prepare 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA), and is configured as a spinel support, and noble metal nanoparticles incorporated into the spinel support selected from the group consisting of MnCo2O4, CoMn2O4, and combinations thereof, and to a method of preparing 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA), including providing a carboxylation catalyst configured such that noble metal nanoparticles are incorporated into a spinel support; and carboxylating a furan-based compound containing a hydroxyl group and a carbonyl group or a derivative thereof in the presence of the carboxylation catalyst.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel epoxy compound, a method for preparing same, a composition and cured product comprising same, and use thereof, wherein the compound shows excellent heat-resistant properties—specifically, a low thermal expansion property and a high glass transition temperature (including Tg-less which does not show a glass transition temperature), a flame retardant property and processability—specifically, a viscosity-control property, does not require a separate silane coupling agent, and has improved brittleness in a composite. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided are: an epoxy compound having at least one non-reactive silyl group, alkenyl group or combination thereof together with at least two epoxy groups and at least one alkoxysilyl group; a method for preparing the epoxy compound through alkoxysilylation and alkylsilylation; an epoxy composition comprising same; and a cured product.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a fluid sand falling type circulating fluidized bed boiler with a plurality of risers for preventing erosion and corrosion of water tubes and increasing combustion efficiency, and a method of operating the same. The fluid sand falling type circulating fluidized bed boiler with a plurality of risers includes a boiler section into which fuel and oxidizer are injected, a riser section connected to the boiler section so that the fuel and fluid sand supplied from the boiler section are introduced from the bottom of the riser section and flow up, and a relay section provided on the boiler section to supply the fluid sand having passed through the riser section to the boiler section, wherein the fuel is injected from the top of the boiler section and burned while flowing down therein.

Abstract: The method for manufacturing a solid electrolyte using an LLZ material for a lithium-ion battery comprises the steps of: providing a starting material in which lanthanum nitrate [La(NO3)3.6H2O] and zirconium nitrate [ZrO(NO3)2.6H2O] are mixed at a mole ratio of 3:2; forming an aqueous solution by dissolving the starting material; forming a precipitate by putting ammonia, which is a complex agent, and sodium hydroxide, which adjusts the pH of a reactor, into the aqueous solution, mixing the same, and then co-precipitating the mixture; forming a primary precursor powder by cleaning, drying and pulverizing the precipitate; forming a secondary precursor powder by mixing lithium powder [LiOH.H2O] with the primary precursor powder and ball-milling the mixture so as to solidify the lithium; and forming a solid electrolyte powder by heat-treating the secondary precursor powder.

A conjugate fiber fabricated by the above apparatus and method is also provided.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for controlling a permanent magnet motor are provided. An apparatus for controlling a permanent magnet motor, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a current control unit for generating a control current so as to drive a motor according to an initial set current or a current corresponding to an estimated magnetic flux; a motor driving unit for driving the motor according to the control current of the current control unit; a measurement unit for measuring a driving voltage and current of the motor; and a magnetic flux estimation unit preliminarily driving the motor with the initial set current or the current corresponding to the estimated magnetic flux, so as to estimate the magnetic flux of the motor on the basis of the current measured when the motor is preliminarily driven and a voltage model of the motor according to the measured voltage, and adaptively controlling the magnetization current or demagnetization current of the motor such that the estimated magnetic flux is within an error range.
