An operation method performed by user equipment in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes: determining whether to switch a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) state; switching to a new DRX state and operating in the new DRX state, if it is determined to switch to the DRX state; and reporting the switch to the new DRX state to a network. The new DRX state is based on a new DRX cycle comprising on-duration for which a downlink channel is monitored and off-duration for which the downlink channel is not monitored.

Provided are a method and apparatus for providing and reproducing a three-dimensional (3D) video content, and a computer readable recording medium storing a program to execute the method. The method of providing 3D image content includes: inserting content type information indicating whether the image content is two-dimensional (2D) image content or 3D image content into a reserved region of a Program Map Table (PMT); inserting additional information about the 3D image content into one of an Elementary Stream (ES) descriptor region of the PMT and a reserved region included in a video sequence of the ES; and multiplexing the PMT and the ES of the 3D image content so as to generate a Transport Stream (TS). Accordingly, compatibility with a conventional digital broadcasting system can be maintained and more realistic 3D image content can be provided to a user.

The present invention provides a novel structure for sealing a cosmetic container using a double-injection molded rib on the container body sealing against a deformable hard-rubber ring on the container cover. The invention will maximize product reliability by improving the sealing structure of a make-up base or cosmetic container through providing a clear, air-tight effect since the sealing structure cannot be deformed, even in the case of long-term use. The invention provides uniform, airtight adhesion without unequal distribution of coupling intensity between internal sealing components when the container cover is closed. Further, the aesthetics of the container are increased because a closure clasp is not necessary, and it is possible to eliminate the problem of dried-out product created when the container is fitted with a closure clasp or similar device.

Disclosed herein is a battery pack case. An upper cover, a lower support base and each side cover form at least one seating depression extending in a sideways direction. Each of the front and rear covers has band locking depressions at positions corresponding to the seating depressions. Each band locking depression has a shape corresponding to a related one of fixing bands. Each fixing band includes a band body which is made of rubber, fabric or plastic and extends a predetermined length in one direction, and a locking protrusion provided on each of opposite ends of the band body. The locking protrusion has a structure corresponding to a related one of the band locking depressions. The locking protrusions of the fixing bands are inserted into the corresponding band locking depressions, thus fastening the elements including the front cover and the rear cover together.

Provided is a nanowire manufacturing method, comprising forming a plurality of grid patterns on a substrate, forming a nanowire on the grid patterns, and separating the grid pattern and the nanowire. According to the present invention, the width and height of the nanowire can be adjusted by controlling the wet-etching process time period, and the nanowire can be manufactured at a room temperature at low cost, the nanowire can be mass-manufactured and the nanowire with regularity can be manufactured even in case of mass production.

In a semiconductor device having an enlarged contact area between a contact structure and a substrate, the substrate may include a first region on which a conductive structure is arranged and a second region defining the first region. The first region may include a multi-faced polyhedral recess of which at least one of the sidewalls is slanted with respect to a surface of the substrate. An insulation layer may be formed on the substrate to a thickness that is sufficient to cover the conductive structure. The insulation layer has a contact hole that may be communicated with the recess. The active region of the substrate is exposed through the contact hole. A conductive pattern is positioned in the recess and the contact hole. Accordingly, the contact resistance at the active region of the substrate may be kept to a relatively low value even though the gap distances and line width of pattern lines are reduced.

According to the present invention, the particular bitter taste of ginseng may be eliminated without the loss of a marker component found in ginseng, thereby enabling the easy intake of ginseng.

A signal amplifying apparatus, a wireless transmitting apparatus, and a signal amplifying method are provided. The signal amplifying apparatus modulates an envelope signal using a multi-bit quantizer, thereby increasing coding efficiency and tracking optimal supply voltage with respect to envelope variation due to the use of the multi-bit quantizer.
