A clutch switching device for electric rolling doors contains: a housing, a rotating plate, and a shifting bar. The rotating plate is provided in the housing for connecting with the clutch pulling cord. The shifting bar is coupled with the rotating plate and is pulled to drive the rotating plate to move toward a manual mode position or an automatic mode position. The rotating plate has a wrenching portion for matching with a wrench tool so as to wrench the rotating plate. The housing includes a movable fixing element, the rotating plate has a first positioning aperture and a second positioning aperture, such that when the rotating plate is located at a manual mode position, the first positioning aperture aligns and retains with the movable fixing element; when the rotating plate is located at the automatic mode position, the second positioning aperture aligns and retains with the movable fixing element.

Door leveling apparatuses are disclosed herein. A door leveling apparatus configured in accordance with one embodiment includes a bracket mounted to a door, such as a vertically-opening sectional door. The apparatus further includes a cable assembly having a first end portion coupled to the bracket and a second end portion coupled to a door lifting system, such as a counterbalance assembly. The first end portion includes an adjuster that enables an operator to adjust the operational length of the cable assembly extending between the lifting system and the bracket, thereby enabling the operator to individually adjust the lengths of two such cable assemblies on opposite sides of the door to align the door with a corresponding opening.

An outer door panel is selectively movable for restricting access to the interior of the apparatus. A secondary metal door and cage assembly is located behind the primary outer door panel for further restricting access to the interior of the storage apparatus. A pulley system is provided for mechanically lifting and lowering the outer door panel.

A vehicle door driving apparatus includes a driving mechanism fixed to a vehicle door and including a motor and a drum rotationally driven by the motor. A rope member is wound around the drum and linked to the vehicle body, and rotation of the drum is transmitted to the vehicle body by the rope member to open and close the vehicle door. The driving mechanism includes: a first small-diameter gear linked to the rotary axis of the motor to rotate together with the rotary shaft of the motor; a transmission gear rotatable around the axis extending in the vehicle width direction; a sun gear rotatable around such axis; a ring gear disposed on the same axis as the sun gear; and a carrier having a planet gear engaging the sun gear and the ring gear, and linked to the drum so that the carrier rotates together with the drum.

A gate operator for opening and closing an exterior gate includes an elongate hollow housing for rigid vertical mounting relative to the ground. First and second spaced-apart hinge assemblies for securing to the gate are mounted within the housing for pivoting relative to the housing. A motor is mounted within the housing and is coupled to at least one of the first and second hinge assemblies for causing the at least one of the first and second hinge assemblies to pivot between first and second positions and thus cause the gate to pivot between opened and closed positions. A method for manufacturing the gate operator and a folded gate assembly utilizing the gate operator are provided.

A synthetic fiber rope with coupling element for transmitting an adjustment force to an adjustable part to be connected to the rope via the coupling element is provided. The coupling element is attached to the rope as an element separate from the rope. The coupling element at least partly engages in the interior of the rope and there engages behind rope components made of synthetic fibers, wherein the coupling element completely reaches through the rope transverse to its local direction of extension and protrudes beyond the outer surface of the rope. A base of the coupling element resting against the outer surface of the rope and extending along a portion of the outer surface of the rope. A succeeding component is attached to the coupling element in that it is press-fitted with the coupling element, such that material of the succeeding component is deformed and rope components being compacted in the region of the coupling element.
