Abstract: A parking assistance device performs a process for parking a vehicle in a parking area based on a captured image obtained by an imaging device mounted on the vehicle, and includes a storage part that stores the captured image; a first processing part that detects parking areas present in an imaging area of the imaging device, based on a low-resolution image obtained by reducing the resolution of the captured image; a selecting part that selects a target parking area from the detected parking areas when the parking areas have been detected by the first processing part; an extracting part that extracts an extraction image including the target parking area from the captured image stored in the storage part; and a second processing part that generates, based on the extraction image, target information indicating a target stop location used upon parking the vehicle in the target parking area.

Abstract: A vehicle door device includes first and second link arms each including a first pivotal connection point to a vehicle body and a second pivotal connection point to a door of a vehicle, and a drive unit that opens and closes the door based on an operation of a link mechanism formed by the first and second link arms by using at least one of the first and second link arms as a drive link and pivoting the drive link. The drive unit includes an actuator that outputs drive torque, and a transmission mechanism that transmits the drive torque to the drive link disposed at a position separated from the actuator. The transmission mechanism includes a torque input portion that inputs the drive torque to the drive link, and a power transmission member that forms a transmission path for the drive torque in a state of extending between the actuator and the torque input portion and has flexibility to enable transmission of the drive torque in a bent state.

Abstract: A vehicle roof structure includes a frame and a deflector device. The frame defines an opening portion opened and closed by a movable panel. The deflector device includes a deflector and a torsion spring. The control device performs the transfer torque limit control instead of the torque response slip control in a case where the torque response slip control is being performed when performing the shift control.
