Abstract:
Pressure sensitive adhesive compositions and pressure sensitive adhesive articles containing the adhesive compositions are disclosed. The adhesive compositions of the invention generally demonstrate favorable cohesive strength at elevated temperatures. The adhesive compositions contain an acrylic acid ester copolymer having pendant styrenic polymeric moieties mixed with a polyarylene oxide polymer. The adhesive composition may be a foam.
Abstract:
Thermosettable PSA compositions of the invention comprise a major proportion of the adhesive component of at least one acidic polymer and at least one amine-containing compound capable of reacting with acidic functional groups on the acidic polymer to cure the thermosettable PSA composition into a thermoset adhesive. The thermosettable PSA compositions are particularly useful for forming semi-structural or structural bonds. Thermoset adhesives therefrom and methods of forming the thermoset adhesives are also disclosed.

An aviation laminate includes an intumescent backer sheet covered by a decorative sheet. The aviation laminate is generally fire-resistant, may be structural, and may be used to construct various components within an aircraft cabin that may be held to government/regulatory fire mitigation requirements.
Abstract:
A method includes determining a plurality of configuration entries based on received provisioning requests and further based on provisioning system resource utilization data. Each configuration entry includes a corresponding virtual system template, and a corresponding number of virtual systems to be provisioned. The method also includes provisioning the corresponding number of virtual systems for a first configuration entry in the plurality of configuration entries. The corresponding number of virtual systems are provisioned based on the corresponding virtual system template for the first configuration entry. The method additionally includes storing the provisioned virtual systems in a resource pool and processing a provisioning request utilizing a pre-provisioned virtual system stored in the resource pool.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with reducing interference for a multi-radio communication device are described. According to one embodiment, an apparatus includes a first radio transceiver configured to communicate wirelessly in accordance with a first wireless communication standard, and a second radio transceiver configured to communicate wirelessly in accordance with a second wireless communication standard. A network interface configured to establish a first communication link with a first station and establish a second communication link with a second station. An interference controller is configured to restrict the first station from communicating in accordance with the first wireless communication standard over the first communication link during a time that the network interface is communicating with the second station over the second communication link.
Abstract:
Mechanism of interactively sharing, synchronization and control of information among users with different electronic contact types, using internet network based communication between a client application on the mobile electronic device and a server device, are described. As an example, a host can send invitation for a calendar event to other users whose contact type may be email address, phone number, a social media account with a single client application on the mobile device. Mechanism for the synchronization also allow for calendar event information on different client devices to be automatically synchronized. Identifiers may be automatically used by a synchronization mechanism implemented by a service. Identifiers may include user identifier, event identifier, information context identifier, device identifier or other identifiers. Messages, data structures and protocols between client devices and server to create, update, delete and respond to information data more specifically related to a calendar event are described. A mechanism to establish a direct communication link for exchanging instant messages among participants of an information context related to a calendar event using client device, server service and identifiers is also described.
Abstract:
The invention provides a composition for lateral flow assay device that comprises at least one fabric strand coated with a conducting material and a diagnostic material. The invention also provides a lateral flow assay device(10) having a proximal end(12), a distal end(14) and a testing zone intermediate between the proximal end(12) and the distal end(14). The lateral flow assay device(20) is made of a fabric comprising at least one strand(22) that defines a flow path. The at least one strand of the fabric in the testing zone is coated with a conducting material(24). The at least one strand is made of at least one of a cotton, a silk-based material, and combinations thereof. The invention also provides a lateral flow assay system(40) comprising the lateral flow assay device(42) of the invention, wherein the at least one electrode(52) connected to the strand(50) coated with the conducting material and measurement means(54) to measure the output from the at least one electrode(52).
Abstract:
An approach is provided for cleaning data sets for a search process. The cleanup platform determines one or more reference documents associated with at least one region. Next, the cleanup platform processes and/or facilitates a processing of the one or more reference documents to determine a frequency distribution of one or more candidate stop words with respect to the at least one region. Then, the cleanup platform causes, at least in part, selection of one or more stop words applicable to the at least one region from the one or more candidate stop words based, at least in part, on one or more frequency distribution criteria. Additionally, the cleanup platform processes and/or facilitates a processing of at least one data set associated with a search process to generate at least one enhanced data set by filtering the one or more stop words from the at least one data set.
