    Abstract: An LED device with improved LED efficiency is presented. An LED die is positioned within a pocket formed by a substrate and an opening in a supporting layer arranged thereon. The increase in the LED efficiency is achieved by providing a device where at least a portion of the pocket surface is reflective. This portion of the pocket surface is reflective because it is covered by either a reflective layer of foil or film, or a reflective coating, or it is polished.

    Abstract: A method for fabricating an acoustic sensor according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes: forming an acoustic sensor unit by forming a lower electrode on an upper portion of a substrate, forming etching holes on the lower electrode, forming a sacrifice layer on an upper portion of the lower electrode, and coupling a diaphragm to an upper portion of the sacrifice layer; coupling a lower portion of the substrate of the acoustic sensor unit to a printed circuit board on which a sound pressure input hole is formed so as to expose the lower portion of the substrate of the acoustic sensor unit to the outside through the sound pressure input hole; attaching a cover covering the acoustic sensor unit on the printed circuit board; etching the substrate of the acoustic sensor unit to form an acoustic chamber; and removing the sacrifice layer.

    Abstract: Provided is an oil separating structure of a variable displacement compressor including: a cylinder block having a plurality of cylinder bores; a front housing disposed in the front of the cylinder block to form a swash plate chamber; a drive shaft rotatably supported at the cylinder block; a lug plate disposed in the swash plate chamber of the front housing and fixedly installed at the drive shaft; a rear housing disposed in the rear of the cylinder block and having a discharge chamber and a suction chamber communicating with the cylinder bores; a swash plate installed to be rotated by the lug plate to vary its inclination angle; pistons connected to the swash plate and reciprocating in the cylinder bores; a suction path for communicating the swash plate chamber and the discharge chamber; an additional exhaust path for communicating the swash plate chamber and the suction chamber; and a control valve installed in the middle of the suction path, characterized in that the drive shaft has a communication aperture formed therein for communicating the swash plate chamber and the suction chamber, and the lug plate has a first communication hole passing therethrough and a second communication hole formed therein for communicating the first communication hole and the communication aperture. Therefore, oil and refrigerant are smoothly separated from each other using only the communication hole formed in the lug plate without an additional oil separator, thereby simplifying an inner constitution of a compressor.

    Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a flat display, a transparent window, an optical element, an optical zoom lens set and an image sensing element. The flat display includes a display panel with a viewing direction. The transparent window, the optical element, the optical zoom lens set and the image sensing element are all configure in the outer frame of the flat display. The transparent window and the optical element correspond to each other and align in the viewing direction. The optical zoom lens set includes multiple lenses configured at one side of the optical element. The lenses move along a focusing direction to modify the focusing length. The focusing direction is substantially perpendicular to the viewing direction. The image sensing element is configured at one side of the optical zoom lens set, thereby allowing the light to pass through the transparent window, by the optical element guided to the optical zoom lens set, then passing through the lenses, and finally focusing on the image sensing element.
