Abstract:
In a particular embodiment, a method is disclosed that includes identifying a first block of bits within a result to be written to a destination register by an execution unit. The result includes a plurality of bits having the first block of bits and a second block of bits. The first block of bits has a value of zero. The method further includes providing an encoded bit value representing the first block of bits to a control register and selectively writing the second block of bits, but not the first block of bits, to the destination register. The destination register is sized to receive the first and second blocks of bits.
Abstract:
A method for fabricating a bi-polar plate of a fuel cell and the bi-polar plate thereof are presented. A graphite film is formed first. Next, a polymeric material added with electrically conductive powder is coated on a surface of a metal substrate. The graphite film is disposed on the polymeric material and the polymeric material is hardened to form an adhesive layer, such that the graphite film is attached on the surface of the metal substrate.
Abstract:
Compounds of the invention, such as compounds of Formulae Ia, Ib, Ic, or Id and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, isomers, and prodrugs thereof, which are useful as modulators of the activity of liver X receptors, where R1, R2, R21, R3, and G are defined herein. Pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds and methods of using the compounds are also disclosed.
Abstract:
An auto-focusing lens module includes an object lens, a liquid zooming unit, and an image lens group. The object lens and the liquid zooming unit receive an object image in front and condense the image into a first-stage output light. A zoom quantity is determined by an external control on the liquid zooming unit. The image lens group including a first and second lens receives the first-stage output light to transmit a second-stage output light. The first lens has a first and second surface, in which the second surface is farther than the first surface to the liquid zooming unit and has a convex curving surface protruding toward an image sensor. The second lens has a first and second surface, in which the first surface has a concave curving surface indenting toward the image sensor to adapt at least a portion of the convex curving surface of the first lens.
Abstract:
A package structure and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The package structure includes a packaging substrate, a chip, an interposer substrate, a wire and an adhesive layer. The packaging substrate has an upper packaging surface. The chip is disposed on the upper packaging surface. The wire connects the packaging substrate and the interposer substrate. The adhesive layer is disposed between the packaging substrate and the interposer substrate, and covers the entire chip and part of the upper packaging surface. The adhesive layer includes a first adhesive part and a second adhesive part. The first adhesive part adheres the interposer substrate and the chip. The second adhesive part surrounds the first adhesive part, adheres the interposer substrate and the packaging substrate, and supports a periphery of the interposer substrate.
Abstract:
A backlight module is provided. The backlight module includes a light guide plate, an optical component, and a light source for generating light. The optical component is provided for adjusting or veering the light emitted from the light source along a direction perpendicular to the light guide plate. One end of the optical component is affixed to the light source for receiving the incident light. The other end of the optical component faces, and is separated from, the light guide plate, so as to direct the light to the light guide plate.
Abstract:
Metal-polyaniline (PANI) composites are provided together with a process of preparing such composites by an electrodeless process. The metal of the composite can have nanoscale structural features and the composites can be used in applications such as catalysis for hydrogenation reactions and for analytical detection methods employing SERS.
Abstract:
An optic touch control screen module includes a plurality of frame members of various sizes and joint members that are combined to form a frame. Each of the frame members and the joint members forms a receiving chamber. Every two opposite ones of the circuit boards are provided with oppositely arranged and corresponding optic transmitting elements and optic receiving elements. Each circuit board has opposite ends each forming a female connector. A plurality of male connectors is provided and each has a structure having two faces forming male terminals. To assemble, the male connector is set between and engages with the female connectors of two adjacent circuit boards. Thus, damage to the circuit boards can be avoided.
Abstract:
A hidden sensing device and its urinal are disclosed. The hidden sensing device, which is attached on some sanitary installations, comprises a conductivity sensor for detecting urine and a Micro-programmed Control Unit (MCU) for processing signals, wherein said conductivity sensor has electrodes extending into urine. The device further includes a microwave sensor controlled by the MCU to detect human's movements. When the conductivity sensor has detected urine, the MCU will turn on the microwave sensor to detect the human's presence or departure.
