Abstract:
A stabilized pharmaceutical composition of anticancer drug and a solvent like Polyethoxylated castor oil (cremophor) also containing any other suitable solubilizer suitable for human administration like dehydrated alcohol, is disclosed. Compositions prepared using this purified polyethoxylated castor oil enhance the stability of paclitaxel in such compositions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to disinfectant and cleansing compositions for cleaning the skin of humans and for cleaning surface such as floors, and the invention also provides process for the preparation of the said composition.
Abstract:
Devices and techniques for hardware accelerated packet processing are described herein. A device can communicate with one or more hardware switches. The device can detect characteristics of a plurality of packet streams. The device may distribute the plurality of packet streams between the one or more hardware switches and software data plane components based on the detected characteristics of the plurality of packet streams, such that at least one packet stream is designated to be processed by the one or more hardware switches. Other embodiments are also described.
Abstract:
Technologies for offloading data object replication and service function chain management include a switch communicatively coupled to one or more computing nodes capable of executing virtual machines and storing data objects. The switch is configured to determine metadata of a service function chain, transmit a network packet to a service function of the service function chain being executed by one or more of the computing nodes for processing the network packet. The switch is further configured to receive feedback from service function, update the metadata based on the feedback, and transmit the network packet to a next service function of the service function chain. Additionally or alternatively, the switch is configured to identify a plurality of computing nodes (i.e., storage nodes) at which to store a received data object, replicate the data object based on the number of storage nodes, and transmit each of the received data object and replicated data object(s) to different corresponding storage nodes. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
In embodiments, apparatuses, methods and storage media (transitory and non-transitory) are described that are associated with end-to-end datacenter performance control. In various embodiments, an apparatus for computing may receive a datacenter performance target, determine an end-to-end datacenter performance level based at least in part on quality of service data collected from a plurality of nodes, and send a mitigation command based at least in part on a result of a comparison of the end-to-end datacenter performance level determined to the datacenter performance target. In various embodiments, the apparatus for computing may include one or more processors, a memory, a datacenter performance monitor to receive a datacenter performance target corresponding to a service level agreement, and a mitigation module to send a mitigation command based at least in part on a result of a comparison of an end-to-end datacenter performance level to a datacenter performance target.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a formulation containing curcuminoids exhibiting enhanced in vivo bioavailability and resultant improved efficacy, said formulation comprising curcuminoids and a gel forming, non digestive and soluble dietary polysaccharide fiber galactomannan matrix and proteins derived from fenugreek [Trigonella Foenum graecum]. The invention also relates to a process for producing the formulation and extracting non-digestible soluble dietary polysaccharide fiber galactomannans containing proteins from fenugreek seeds.
Abstract:
A plurality of packets associated with a plurality of protocols are received, wherein the plurality of packets are to be processed by a plurality of processors. Packets associated with a first protocol are sent to be processed by at least one of the plurality of processors before sending packets associated with a second protocol to be processed, in response to determining that the packets associated with the first protocol have a higher priority for processing than the packets associated with the first protocol.
Abstract:
The invention presents tools to improve a 3-D image aided biopsy or treatment procedure for prostate gland by providing additional functionality and additional visual cues on an output image of the prostate, which may be generated substantially in real-time. The tools include i) the identification of various parts of prostate to classify as per regular classification in pathological reports, ii) Computing and displaying the insertion depth of needle with respect to a selected target point during the procedure, iii) Computing and displaying the distance from needle tip to prostate surface following a procedure and, iv) Calibration for misalignment of a 2-D imaging transducer when used under tracked motion for a procedure.
Abstract:
The presented invention aims to address these and/or additional issues by providing a tracked grid for brachytherapy applications that can adjust to changes in the prostate between original image acquisition. The grid is allowed to be moved around and even rotated under tracked conditions, such that it can be maneuvered to align with any target region. A virtual 3-D grid is displayed on a computer with respect to the actual anatomy of the patient. The tracked grid can be moved relative to the virtual 3-D grid, such that the brachytherapy, cryo therapy or any other type of image guided therapy may be performed in real 3-D or even 4-D, when motion compensation is embedded during the procedure.
