Abstract: Technologies for generating user-specific workout plans and tracking a user's progress are disclosed. The user-specific workout plan may be based on a user's goal and the particular workout facility to be used by the user. During performance of the user-specific workout by the user, the user is provided with workout data regarding the user's performance. Such workout data may be based on sensor data generated by sensors of the exercise machine used by the user and/or other sensors carried or worn by the user.

Abstract: Technologies for crowdsourced media streaming include a number of mobile computing devices configured to capture media streams and transmit the media streams to a media server. The media server associates the media streams with metadata describing the media streams, including metadata describing an event captured in the media stream. The media server also processes the media streams to generate additional metadata. A number of client computing devices may submit media stream requests to the media server, and the media server contemporaneously streams matching media streams to the client computing devices as the media streams are captured by the mobile computing devices. The client computing devices may transmit feedback information relating to the media stream to the source mobile computing device via the media server. The client computing devices may display the media streams alongside or overlaying other media such as a broadcast media event. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: Technologies for structured media playback include one or more physical media objects, which may be placed on a substrate including a matrix of position sensor tags. Each of the physical media objects is configured to sense one or more position sensor tags and transmit tag information received from the sensed position sensor tags to a compute device. The compute device determines a cast of physical media objects present on the substrate based on the received tag information and selects media for playback based on the determined cast. In some embodiments, the compute device may select the index of the media at which to initiate playback based on the determined cast or collection of physical media objects.

Abstract: Technologies for managing assets of a data center include a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communicatively coupled to a remote computing device. The UAV is configured to navigate throughout a data center and capture data center mapping information during the navigation usable to generate a three-dimensional (3D) model of the data center. The UAV is further configured to transmit the captured data center mapping information to a remote computing device. Accordingly, the UAV can receive instructions from a remote computing device that define a type of task to be performed by the UAV in the data center and perform such a task (e.g., a data center map update task, an asset inventory task, a maintenance task, a visual inspection task, etc.) based on the received task instructions.
