    摘要: Two embodiments of a connector that can be mated without regard for its orientation are disclosed. One embodiment is mated and demated autonomously as part of a system for recovering, docking with, recharging and re-launching unmanned aerial vehicles. Another embodiment is employed on the decks of vessels to facilitate mating and demating of various equipment providing different functions to reconfigure the vessel. Because both embodiments are configured for connection irrespective of angular orientation over 360°, they are especially suited for harsh environments including autonomous operation, rough seas, darkness and the like.

    摘要: Disclosed is a rolling piston rotary compressor for use with primary refrigerants that is miniaturized for portable and mobile applications for which size and weight are often crucial. The miniature rotary compressor comprises a compressor mechanism, a brushless DC motor and a casing. The compressor mechanism comprises, a cylinder, a shaft having an eccentric part, one or more bearings to support the shaft, a roller, a vane, an oil sump, openings for communicating with lubricant oil and refrigerant, and inlet and discharge ports. The compressor mechanism and the motor are housed in a hermetically sealed or semi-hermetically sealed casing. The configuration and design of the present invention allow the realization of an ultralight miniature compressor. The miniature rotary compressor provides a higher power density and comparable efficiency as compared to state-of-the-art refrigerant-based rotary compressors. Also disclosed are methods of manufacturing the miniature rotary compressor.

    摘要: The present invention is a method and apparatus for positioning a read/write head in a hard disk drive. The method comprises providing a disk having a at least one side with a plurality of tracks, where each of the tracks has a servo field with servo bits. The servo bits are read to provide a position signal for positioning a read/write head. The method determines a difference in position between an initial and a subsequent position of the read/write head on a track, where the subsequent location occurs after the read/write head has moved one revolution from the initial position on the track. The initial and subsequent positions are offset laterally. The method generates a compensation signal based on the initial position, the subsequent position and the difference. The position signal and the compensation signal are combined to provide a compensated position signal for positioning the read/write head. Various embodiments are described.

    摘要: A method for forming a contact hole in a semiconductor device is disclosed. The method for forming a contact hole in a semiconductor device comprises depositing a nitride layer and an ILD on a substrate including predetermined devices; forming a first photoresist pattern on the ILD and making a via hole by using the first photoresist pattern; performing a first ashing process; forming a second photoresist pattern on the ILD and making a trench using the second photoresist pattern; conducting a PET; performing a second ashing process and etching the predetermined portion of the nitride layer exposed through the via hole; and wet-cleaning the resulting structure. Accordingly, the present disclosure can fabricate a contact hole maximizing the characteristics of a semiconductor device just by performing a Post Etching Treatment after a trench is formed.

    摘要: A data strobe circuit is configured to generate an internal strobe signal for latching data in response to a clock signal. The data strobe circuit using a clock signal comprises an external input processing unit, a clock signal processing unit and a strobe signal output unit. The external input processing unit performs a logic operation on an externally applied data strobe signal and a reference voltage, and outputs the result of the logic operation in response to a clock enable signal and an internal control signal. The clock signal processing unit selectively outputs an external clock signal in response to the clock enable signal. The strobe signal output unit performs a logic operation on output signals from the external input processing unit and the clock signal processing unit, and selectively outputs one of the output signals from the external input processing unit and the clock signal processing unit as an internal data strobe signal.
