摘要： Powder of a semiconductor material and solvent are packed into a rubber tube and both ends of the rubber tube are fixed by fixing rings in a condition with sealing in the vertical direction effected by an upper cover and a lower cover. After this, the rubber tube is immersed in an oil bath and pressure is applied uniformly from the side faces to the semiconductor material within the rubber tube, using hydraulic pressure. An extrusion molding of rectangular shape and of smaller cross sectional area than before molding is formed by extrusion from an extrusion port of rectangular solid shape of a die (extrusion mold) in which pressure is applied in an extrusion direction D by a punch to a rectangular solid sintered body of thermoelectric semiconductor material.

摘要： An amplification circuit including a differential amplifier is disclosed. An npn transistor portion of the differential amplifier has its base provided with negative feed back, the base potential is brought to a constant potential, i.e. a virtual ground potential. The voltage between the base and emitter of the transistor is thus kept constant, and the internal resistance of the emitter does not change in accordance with the change of the emitter current. As a result, since the transistor responds only to an input signal current converted by a resistor and operates, the linearity between the input and the output of the differential amplifier is improved.

摘要： A grouting rod is formed with a first channel, a second channel (or channels) surrounding the first channel and a third channel which is normally in communication with the first channel. A piston valve is vertically movably received in an upper portion of the third channel. When the piston valve is raised, upper lateral communication holes and upper discharge holes which are formed in the upper peripheral wall of the third channel are closed by the piston valve and concurrently the second channels are permitted to communicate with a lower portion of the third channel through lower lateral communication holes also formed in the upper peripheral wall of the third channel. When the piston valve is lowered, the upper lateral communication holes and upper discharge holes are opened and concurrently the second channel(or channels) is prevented from communicating with the lower portion of the third channel through the lower lateral communication holes.

摘要： A plastic molding, such as a key top with signals or letters appearing on its face, has a first part molding having projections formed at its top defined an enclosed area. A second part molding of a color other than that of the first part molding is adhered to the surface of the first part molding in a manner permitting the ends of the projections to be exposed. The first part molding has a plurality of through holes formed in mesh configuration. At least one of the projections corresponds to at least one of the through holes. The second part molding is adhered to the first part molding to be buried in the plastic material of the second part molding. Part of the plastic material of the first part molding is filled into the enclosed area via the through holes. In a method of making such plastic molding, an inner member of the mold die may be used commonly regardless of the sign or letter provided in the plastic molding.

When writing a VOB onto a DVD, the recording apparatus refers to TM_ZONE recorded on the DVD, and judges whether the time zone which the timer is based on matches the time zone that the TM_ZONE specifies. If the two time zones do not match, the recording apparatus operates as follows. First, the recording apparatus obtains VOB_REC_TM that indicates the recording date/time of the VOB based on TM_ZONE. The recording apparatus then writes the VOB onto the DVD together with VOBI that is information of the VOB and contains (a) the obtained VOB_REC_TM; (b) LOCAL_TZ_TY indicating that the two time zones do not match and (c) LOCAL_TZ specifying the time zone which the timer is based on.

摘要： A spherical slide bearing has an outer ring and an inner ring slidably retained within the outer ring. A pin having a grease supply flow path extending through an interior thereof to open in an outer peripheral surface thereof is inserted into the inner ring so that the pin is circumferentially slidable, with the inner ring being equipped with a communication flow path establishing communication between a gap defined between the inner ring and the pin and a gap defined between the inner ring and the outer ring. The inlet port of the communication flow path is provided at a position where grease having flown out of an outlet port of the grease supply flow path flows after having flown through the gap between the pin and the inner ring substantially through the entire length in the axial direction of the pin.

摘要： To provide a method for industrially efficiently producing an exhaust gas purifying catalyst containing a perovskite-type composite oxide which is stable and has a less reduced specific surface area and is also effectively prevented from decreasing in its catalytic performance even in endurance in high temperature oxidative reducing atmospheres, a pre-crystallization composition containing elementary components constituting a perovskite-type composite oxide containing a noble metal is prepared, is mixed with a powder of theta-alumina and/or alpha-alumina to prepare a mixture, and the mixture is heat treated. Thus, the resulting perovskite-type composite oxide supported by the powder of theta-alumina and/or alpha-alumina can keep its thermostability at a sufficient level thereby to effectively prevent the catalytic performance from decreasing. This method can industrially efficiently produce the exhaust gas purifying catalyst.
