The processor is configured to determine that ad delivery is appropriate and to select an ad with a likelihood of driver response above a certain threshold. The selection is based at least in part on a currently received GPS location proximity value, workload value and advertisement optimization value, and to deliver the advertisement through a vehicle output.

The server includes a middleware application operable to process weather data requests. The system also includes a gps module, and at least one component control system, operable to adjust at least one parameter associated with at least one vehicle component. Finally, the illustrative system includes a vehicle computing system, in communication with the GPS module, the at least one component control system, and the server. In response to a request for data from the component control system, the vehicle computing system passes GPS data to the server, including the request for data, and the vehicle computing system responsively receives the requested data from the server. The vehicle computing system relays the received data to the component control system that requested the data.

The system includes a first variable antenna (54) that receives a vehicle discovery signal and a variable amplifier (56) that is electrically coupled to the first variable antenna (54), which modifies the vehicle discovery signal. A smart transmission antenna (62) focuses and transmits a pattern signal to at least another vehicle in the wireless communication network. A smart antenna amplifier (66) is electrically coupled to the smart antenna (62) and modifies the pattern signal. A main controller (58) is electrically coupled to the variable amplifier (56), the smart antenna amplifier (66), and a vehicle network (60). The main controller (58) generates the pattern signal in response to the vehicle discovery signal and a vehicle network signal.

    摘要: A system for sensing a potential collision of a first vehicle (11) with a second vehicle (72) that transmits a second position signal. The first vehicle has a pre-crash sensing system (10) includes a memory (14) that stores vehicle data and generates a vehicle data signal. A first global positioning system (18) generates a first position signal corresponding to a position of the first vehicle. A first sensor (20) generating sensor data signals from the first vehicle. A receiver (22) receives a second position signal from the second vehicle. A countermeasure system (40) is also coupled within the first vehicle. A controller (12) is coupled to the memory (14), the global positioning receiver (18) the first sensor (20) and the counter measure system (40). The controller (12) determines a distance to the second vehicle in as a function of the second position signal. The controller determines a first vehicle trajectory from the vehicle data, the first sensor data signal and the position signal. The controller (12) determines a threat level as a function of the distance and the first vehicle trajectory and activates the counter-measure system in response to the threat level.
