    摘要: There is provided a control system for a vehicle, which is capable of increasing the service life of a transmission belt while preventing slippage thereof, and at the same time improving fuel economy and drivability. The control system for a vehicle sets a transmission transfer torque to be transmitted from a drive pulley of a continuously variable transmission to a driven pulley of the same, and a clutch transfer torque to be transferred by a clutch. When it is determined that the vehicle is traveling on a bad road, the clutch transfer torque is reduced, and the transmission transfer torque is set to a larger value as the clutch transfer torque is larger.

    摘要: A power transmission comprises a continuously variable transmission CVT, which transmits a rotational driving force from an engine to wheels, a starting clutch 5, which sets variably the transmission capacity of the continuously variable transmission, and a control valve CV, which controls the engagement actuation of the starting clutch 5. While a vehicle equipped with this power transmission is decelerating, the engagement of the starting clutch is controlled to transmit a rotational driving force from the wheels to the engine. Specifically, the engaging capacity of the starting clutch is controlled to bring the difference between the input and output rotational speeds of the starting clutch into a predetermined range, and the control pressure of the starting clutch that brings this difference in the predetermined range is learned, i.e., stored in memory and renewed, as a control value for the next deceleration of the vehicle.

    摘要: In an apparatus for controlling a pulley side-pressure of a belt type continuously variable transmission mechanism provided, in series with a starting clutch, in a transmission of a vehicle having a function of stopping engine idling so that an engine is automatically stopped, if the vehicle start-up is controlled from the state of engine stopping in an ordinary way in which the pulley side-pressure is determined by that belt transmission torque corresponding to an output torque of the engine which is obtained by the rotational speed and the negative suction pressure of the engine, the pulley side-pressure becomes excessive by wrong judgement that the engine output torque is large, because the negative suction pressure is small at the beginning of the engine starting. The durability then deteriorates and the specific fuel consumption becomes poor. As a solution, at a vehicle start-up from the state of engine stopping, a belt transmission torque corresponding to that transmission torque of the starting clutch which is obtained by the engaging force of the starting clutch is compared with a belt transmission torque corresponding to the engine output. The pulley side-pressure is each controlled based on that transmission torque of the drive pulley corresponding to the smaller belt transmission torque and on the transmission torque of the driven pulley.

    摘要: In an apparatus for controlling a starting clutch of a vehicle having a function of stopping engine idling so that an engine is automatically stopped, the starting clutch being provided in a transmission of the vehicle in series with a belt type continuously variable transmission mechanism, a load is applied to the transmission mechanism before a rise in a side pressure of the drive pulley and the driven pulley at the time of vehicle start-up from the state of engine stopping, resulting in a slipping of the belt. To avoid such a slipping, at the time of vehicle start-up from the state of engine stopping, the engaging force of the starting clutch is prevented from increasing above the creeping force which gives rise to the creeping of the vehicle until after a lapse of a predetermined time. In the course of increasing the engaging force of the starting clutch above the creeping force, the speed of rise in the engaging force of the starting clutch is limited to a relatively low speed until after the lapse of the predetermined time. The occurrence of belt slipping due to a delay in the increase in the pulley side-pressure is thus prevented.
