There is provided a plastic base material having a reformed layer 2 formed on a plastic substrate 1 by reforming the surface layer thereof into a component containing fluorine at the ratio of the number of fluorine atoms to the number of carbon atoms, F/C, of 0.85 or more and 1.30 or less, and having highly durable water repellency and ink repellency. The method of manufacturing such a plastic base material comprises a step of reforming the surface of the plastic substrate 1 into a fluorine-containing carbon layer by imparting a specific energy to fluorine-containing plasma by applying an RF bias voltage to the plastic substrate 1 to form a surface having highly durable water repellency and ink repellency. A highly durable ink-jet printer that enables high-quality printing can be provided by the use of a head for an ink-jet printer fabricated by using this plastic base material.

The connection sheet comprises a first adhesive layer containing a first adhesive having an insulating property and a second adhesive layer containing a second adhesive having an insulating property and a conductive material and placed at least on one side of the first adhesive layer. At the same time of electrode connection, the second adhesive molten has a viscosity equal to or lower than that of the first adhesive when molten. When the electrodes are connected with this structure, the conductive material contained in the second adhesive layer is embedded in the first adhesive layer having relatively high melting viscosity, and part of the conductive material is trapped on the electrodes to be connected in contact therewith. Accordingly, the conductive material can be securely held between the electrodes. Further, since the region between adjacent protruding electrodes contains no air bubbles, connection reliability and excellent moisture resistance is ensured.

A hybrid laminated prepreg is disclosed, which comprises a resin layer, a decorative layer laminated thereon and having a pattern, and a transparent prepreg layer laminated on the decorative layer. In manufacturing a fiber reinforced composite resin material molding, the hybrid prepreg is laminated in a couple of layers on the outermost one of laminated layers of usual prepreg. Thus, it is possible to easily decorate the obtainable molding to readily provide an aesthetic sense to the appearance of the molding and also dispense with time-consuming operation of coating or the like. Further, unlike the coating or the like, it is possible to stably hold the aesthetic sense of the appearance for long time. The hybrid laminated prepreg can be suitably used for fiber reinforced composite resin material moldings, for instance such sport articles as golf club shafts, tennis rackets, ski pole shafts and fishing rods, fancy articles, briefcases such as attache cases, pipes such as bicycle frames and panels such as fair-faced wall panels.

The coordinates and image rotation information for several different video special effects are stored in a read-only-memory and are used to limit the address generation operation based on the coordinate boundaries of the image on the video screen, so that only those addresses actually required for the special effect are calculated.
