    摘要: A light beam position controlling apparatus includes a linear motor for driving an optical head in the radial direction of an optical disk, a radial actuator built-in within said optical head and adapted to drive an objective lens for causing the light beam to be accurately positioned in the radial direction of the optical disk and to rotate a mirror for causing the light beam to be deflected in the radial direction of the optical disk, which can be improved in the compression factor of the servo performance, by providing a phase lag compensation circuit and a damping correction circuit for increasing the gain of the transfer function at the resonance frequency of both the linear motor and radial actuator.

    摘要: Disclosed is a means for improving the poor conversion efficiency in a bioconversion system using an Escherichia coli cell having a bacterium-originated cytochrome P-450 gene integrated therein. A recombinant Escherichia coli cell is produced by introducing aciB and aciC which encode a gene for the electron transport system originated from the Acinetobacter sp. OC4 strain into an Escherichia coli cell, and adding a polynucleotide encoding an N-terminal sequence composed of 48 amino acid residues of AciA and the like to the 5′-terminus of a bacterium-originated cytochrome P-450 gene, wherein AciA is an alkane-oxidative cytochrome P-450 originated from the Acinetobacter sp. OC4 strain. Use of the recombinant Escherichia coli cell results in much effective microbial conversion of a hydrophobic or amphipathic substrate compound into a desired compound.

    摘要: A vitamin D3 hydroxylase is purified from Pseudonocardia autotrophica cell, and a primer is designed based on amino acid sequence obtained from hydroxylase. Subsequently, PCR is conducted using genomic DNA of Pseudonocardia autotrophica as a template to clone a gene for the vitamin D3 hydroxylase. By conducting a conversion reaction using a microorganism in which the vitamin D3 hydroxylase gene is expressed using a proper expression system, a hydroxide of vitamin D or the like (e.g., hydroxy vitamin D3) can be produced with high efficiency.

    摘要: The present invention provides: a novel water-soluble copolymer which is excellent in performance for uses, such as detergent builders, pigment dispersants, and scale inhibitors. In addition, the present invention provides: a novel liquid detergent builder which has extremely excellent compatibility, high transparency when a liquid detergent composition comprises it, and excellent detergency; and a novel liquid detergent composition comprising the liquid detergent builder. The water-soluble copolymer, according to the present invention, is a novel water-soluble copolymer obtained by copolymerizing comonomers essentially including: an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid monomer (1); an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monomer (2); and an unsaturated alcoholic monomer (3) having specific structures, with the copolymer being characterized in that the residual amount of the unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monomer is not more than 8 weight %, and the residual amount of the unsaturated alcoholic monomer is not more than 45 weight %.
