摘要: First image data including a first pixel value according to the intensity of background light is obtained by means of only exposure. Second image data including a second pixel value according to the intensity of the light reflected or scattered by an object is obtained by so controlling light emission and exposure as to receive part of the reflected or scattered light over the whole exposure period. The part of the reflected or scattered light corresponds to the flat period of emitted pulsed light. Third image data including a third pixel value according to the distance to the object is obtained by so controlling light emission and exposure as to receive the part of the reflected or scattered light for a time according to the distance. The first pixel value is subtracted from each of the second and third pixel values so that the influence of the background light can be excluded. The ratio between the subtraction results is calculated so that the influences of factors that vary the intensity of the reflected or scattered light can be cancelled.

摘要: When receiving a streaming service from a service provision server, a user terminal wants QoS assurance and issues a QoS request to a QoS control server together with a communicate request to a network. In this case, by including information about a plurality of access networks that the user terminal can access in a QoS request message, a QoS control server can optimally allocate resources in the current environment of the user terminal and assure. QoS. In this case, the format of this QoS request can accompany a communicate request from the user terminal or be independent of the communicate request.

摘要: When the substrate bias voltage Vbb lowers by the pumping operation of the charge pump circuit, a drain-to-source resistance of the N-transistor becomes high. When a first power supply voltage Vcc is set at high value, a drain-to-source current of the N-transistor increases (I+ΔI1), however the drain-to-source current decreases (I+ΔI1−ΔI2) by the increase of the drain-to-source current owing to the substrate bias effect so that the increase of the potential of the node N34 caused by the increase of the first power supply voltage VCC is restrained. As a result, a reference level of the substrate bias voltage Vbb does not largely lower than the reference level of the substrate bias voltage Vbb when the first power supply voltage VCC is in a standard level.

摘要: A display device includes elongated display tubes each of which has a discharge gas filled and a phosphor layer formed in the tube; a flexible sheet; a plurality of electrodes; and an adhesive layer. Each of the tubes is flat elliptical in cross section and has a plane section. The flexible sheet abuts against the plane sections of the tubes to support the tubes. The plurality of electrodes are arranged on the tubes abutting surface of the flexible sheet, for applying a voltage to the tubes to generate discharges within the tubes. The adhesive layer is disposed on the tubes abutting surface of the flexible sheet to bond the flexible sheet to the plane sections of the tubes so that the electrodes of the flexible sheet face the plane sections when the flexible sheet abuts against the plane sections of the tubes.
