    摘要： A fluorescence indicator is injected into a living body from a container via an injecting inlet to be chemically reacted with a substance in the living body. Then, an excitation light is irradiated to the living body from an excitation light source. Then, the thus obtained reflected light is reflected multiply at an reflective film formed on the inner wall of the container, and introduced into a detecting section, where a fluorescence response originated from the chemical bond between the substance and the fluorescence indicator and contained in the reflected light is detected.

    摘要： A sterilization bag that is favorable for storing medical implements having sharp tips such as scalpels and forceps and can effectively suppress the occurrence of unwanted opening or damage due to contact with sharp tips is provided. The sterilization bag is formed by adhering the side edges and lower ends of a gas-permeable material and a synthetic resin film. The sterilization bag has, in its lower end portion or vicinity thereof, a damage-prevention means that prevents damage of at least one selected from the gas-permeable material, the synthetic resin film, and the adhered portion of a gas-permeable material and synthetic resin film by catching or receiving the tips of stored articles. Specific embodiments include a bag having a bulging portion obtained by mountain folding and valley folding a side surface film of synthetic resin in the lower end portion of the sterilization bag or vicinity thereof, and a bag with a laminated protective component made of synthetic resin film.

    摘要： An optical disk recording/reproducing apparatus includes at least a focus shift mechanism for controlling a lens to focus a laser beam on a disk so as to form a beam spot on the disk, a reproduced signal evaluator for evaluating the quality of the reproduced signal on the basis of the output from a reproduced signal detector, a controller for setting the operation target point of the focus shift mechanism, where the best quality of the reproduced signal is attained, on the basis of the output from the reproduced signal evaluator, and an offset generator circuit for outputting a focus offset signal in response to a command from the controller. The operation target point of the focus shift mechanism is set to the optimal point where the jitter in the reproduced signal is rendered minimum.

    摘要： Upon the reception of a page message from a base station (step S1-1), a wireless portable telephone transmits to the exterior a page response which is a response to the page message (step S1-2). If, when transmitting the page response, a data transmission error has been detected (step S1-3), then a predetermined warning tone is generated (step S1-4). Thus, by virtue of this warning tone, the user of the wireless portable telephone can draw out an antenna or move to a place in which the electric field is in a good condition.
