摘要: When a single print job is divided into a plurality of distributed jobs and the distributed jobs are printed using a plurality of printers, whether any of the plurality of printers is abnormal is detected. If at least one of the printers is abnormal, at least part of the distributed job that was to be printed by the abnormal printer is assigned to another printer by control that facilitates the collection and sorting of the printouts produced by the printers.

摘要: A print control apparatus which can prevent a user from being aware of a printed output product preparing process being not fully automated, and enable a print service provider to properly discriminate between automated processes and unautomated processes and also enable a user who actually performs a print process to complete a printed output product as intended without mistakes. A host computer 101 supplies a print job to a printer 102 capable of performing finishing processing on a printed output product. The host computer 101 receives an electronic original including setting items related to printing and finishing of predetermined document data. When the received electronic original is comprised of a plurality of document data files, it is determined which of setting items related to processes which are not permitted to be set in printing each of the document data files, from among the setting items contained in the electronic original.

摘要: In a leadframe for supporting semiconductor devices and including a plurality of outer lead sections, a recess or recesses are provided on each of the outer lead sections at a central portion or both sides of each outer lead section in a region including a cutting line. The recess or recesses reduce the cross-sectional area of the lead section, thus enabling a new cut surface of the lead section to be well covered by solder and enabling ready cutting of the lead section.

摘要: A plural layer liquid crystal display device for a high density display has a second liquid crystal layer containing dye and a dirst layer constructed such that the product .DELTA.n.sub.1 .multidot.d.sub.1 of the anisotropy of refractive index .DELTA.n.sub.1 of liquid molecules in the first liquid crystal layer and the thickness of the first liquid crystal layer d.sub.1 is in a range of 0.7-2.0 .mu.m. The foregoing arrangement provides a display close to a monochrome display with excellent viewing angle characteristics and a high contrast ratio.

摘要: A management apparatus according to the present invention controls whether history information is requested when it is specified that an image forming apparatus as an acquisition target of the history information is in a power saving state. When a return notification from the power saving state is issued after the image forming apparatus as the target requests previous history information, even in the power saving state of the image forming apparatus, the request is issued. The request is not issued when the image forming apparatus does not issue the return notification after the image forming apparatus as the target requests previous history information.
