Abstract: A high-performance multilayer film for packaging, the structure being: BL/TIE/PO1/POX/PO3, obtained once by multilayer coextrusion and biaxial stretching, wherein: the total thickness of the multilayer film is 8 to 100 micrometers; the absolute value of the difference of the solubility parameters between the PO1 and PO3 layer materials is ≥0.1 and ≤0.5, and the absolute value of the difference of the cohesive energy density is ≥3, and ≤5; the solubility parameter and cohesive energy density of the POX bridge material are based on one of the PO1 and PO3 layer materials, and it's transitioned to the other in a gradient way; the absolute value of the difference of the solubility parameters between adjacent layers from the PO1 layer to the POX bridge and the PO3 layer is ≤0.1 (J·cm−3)1/2, and the absolute value of the difference of the cohesive energy density is ≤3 J/cm3).

Abstract: A method for producing a black plated resin part includes the steps of electroplating a resin substrate provided with an underlying plating layer in a trivalent chromium plating bath containing thiocyanic acid, to thereby form, on the underlying plating layer, a black chromium plating layer composed of trivalent chromium and having a thickness of 0.15 μm or more; and immersing the resin substrate provided with the black chromium plating layer in warm water at 30° C. or higher for a predetermined time. In the method, the amount of thiocyanic acid contained in the trivalent chromium plating bath, the temperature of the warm water, and the time of immersion of the resin substrate in the warm water are adjusted so that the black chromium plating layer exhibits a b* value of −1.7 or less based on the L*a*b* color system.

Abstract: A multilayer structure includes a protective layer, an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer, a heat seal resin layer, and an intermediate layer provided between the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer and the heat seal resin layer and containing a polypropylene resin, wherein the intermediate layer further contains a hydrocarbon resin having a number average molecular weight of 100 to 3,000, and a softening point of not less than 60° C. and less than 170° C. The multilayer structure satisfies requirements for a lower water vapor permeability and a sufficient heat seal strength, and provides a standup pouch having a smaller gas barrier property change rate after retort treatment.

Abstract: The fiber-reinforced resin material of the present invention is a fiber-reinforced resin material having a laminated structure in which fiber assembly layers and thermoplastic resin layers are alternately located, wherein the fiber assembly layers are each an assembly of continuous fibers having thermoplastic resin particles attached to surfaces thereof, and the fiber-reinforced resin material has a higher elongation on one surface side than that on the other surface side. The fiber-reinforced resin structure is made of the present fiber-reinforced resin material. A method for manufacturing the present fiber-reinforced resin material includes: a stacking step of stacking a sheet-shaped product of the continuous fibers that serves as the fiber assembly layer and a resin sheet that serves as the thermoplastic resin layer so as to obtain the laminated structure; and a hot-pressing step of heating and compressing a stacked product obtained through the stacking step in a stacking direction.

Abstract: A film with a gas barrier resin having a glass transition temperature of 70° C. or below and an elastomer, and having an oxygen permeability coefficient of 200 mL/(m2·day·atm) or less. In a case where tension is applied to stretch the film in a machine direction (MD) at 20° C. such that a twofold increase in length of the film is kept for 30 seconds, and then the tension is released, a ratio L2/L1 is 1.5 or less, where L1 denotes the length of the film prior to application of the tension and L2 denotes the length of the film subsequent to release of the tension. An elongation ratio at break ETD/EMD of the film is preferably 0.9 or more and 1.7 or less, there EMD denotes the elongation at break in MD and ETD denotes the elongation at break in the transverse direction (TD).
