摘要: A system and method of measuring torque generated by a drive train like that used in a rotating equipment drive. A drive motor is mounted to a rotatable brake assembly which, in turn, is coupled to a gear drive which, in turn, transmits rotational power. The brake assembly is coupled to a fixed cover of the gear drive by a gearbox torque sensor that prevents rotation between the brake assembly and the housing. The sensor can be a load cell or its equivalent. A control module may be configured to adjust operation of the rotating equipment drive in response to the torque signal. All input torque from the drive motor to the gearbox is measured when the brake is disengaged through the load cell. All input torque at the gearbox output shaft, through back-driving, is measured when the brake is engaged through the load cell.

摘要: A separable housing for a transmission wherein the transmission that is to be received in the separable housing has a gear shaft and at least two pinion shafts which are engaged with a gear that is arranged on the gear shaft. The separable housing has at least one first housing element and a second housing element that is connected to the first housing element by a joint of a part. The gear shaft and the at least two pinion shafts can be received in the joint of a part in receptacles on the housing. The joint of a part has a first part-joint stepped section and a second part-joint stepped section, each stepped section forming a different horizontal level in the joint of a part and each stepped section being formed between two of the receptacles of two of the shafts, the stepped sections also being complementarily formed.

摘要: The transmission holder according to the invention for a roller press has a two-part structure with a transmission part which is connected to the transmission and a separate torque supporting part which is to be connected to the machine base frame or foundation. Transmission and torque supporting part of the transmission holder can be detachably connected to one another, preferably by means of a screw or bolt connection. In one embodiment this connection has two screws or bolts. Advantageously the dismantling or assembly of the rollers can thus be accomplished significantly more simply than according to the prior art since merely the screw or bolt connection between transmission and transmission holder of the transmission holder must be released. Advantageously significantly fewer screws/bolts need to be released for dismantling the transmission which in addition are more readily accessible and have a significantly greater distance from one another than according to the prior art. In addition, no unilateral gravitation forces act after dismantling as a result of the symmetrical transmission part. Likewise the tightening torque of the screws/bolts advantageously does not play a very important role. As a further advantage the transmission holder according to the invention can be manufactured simply and cost-effectively. As a result of the compact shape of the transmission part, advantageously low moulding and manufacturing costs are also incurred.

摘要: A geared motor series includes several motors with different dimensions, which respectively have a motor shaft with a receiving bore on the free end thereof. The nominal outer diameters of the motor shafts of the individual motor dimensions are different from each other. At least one plug-in pinion having a pinion journal is provided with a nominal outer diameter corresponding to the nominal diameter of one of the receiving bores, such that the push-in pinion is fixable to the corresponding motor shaft using a press assembly. The nominal diameter of a receiving bore of a motor shaft of a motor of a first motor dimension corresponds to the nominal diameter of a receiving bore of a motor shaft of a motor of at least one other motor dimension, such that the at least one push-in pinion is fixable to motor shafts of motors having different dimensions using a press assembly.

摘要: A speed changer assembly for changing the rotational speed of an engine's (or other prime mover's) output to that required by the input of a process machine. In operation, a first gear is in meshing engagement with an idler gear, which in turn, is in meshing engagement with a second gear. When operation of the speed changer assembly is halted, the idler gear is pivotable about one of the first and second gears. A center distance between the idler gear and the gear about which the idler gear is pivoted remains constant while the center distance between the idler gear and the other gear is varied. The idler gear is taken out of meshing engagement with the other gear, permitting replacement of said other gear. The idler gear is then pivoted to establish meshing engagement with the replacement gear and the speed changer is configured with a new speed ratio.
