    摘要： A composite transmission housing for a vehicle drive train transmission is configured for sealingly enclosing transmission shafts, gearwheels, and a lubricant fluid within an internal space of the housing and includes: a first carbon-fibre skeleton part having a first attachment region; a second carbon-fibre skeleton part having a first attachment region; a first sealing cover part made of plastic material and having a first sealing surface; and a second sealing cover part made of plastic material and having a second sealing surface. The first attachment regions of the first and second carbon-fibre skeleton parts are mutually connected for providing a rigid structural framework that defines said internal space, and the first and second sealing surfaces of the first and second sealing cover parts are pressed together or against corresponding sealing surfaces associated with the first and second carbon-fibre skeleton parts, for providing a sealing envelope around said internal space.

    摘要： An axle assembly for a motor vehicle comprises an axle housing having a central axis and first and second openings formed through the axle housing opposite to each other, a carrier with a differential bearing support supporting a differential thereon for rotation about the central axis, and an abutment member attached to the axle housing adjacent to the first opening to extend substantially in a direction of the central axis. The carrier is fastened to the axle housing adjacent to the second opening therein. The abutment member engages the differential bearing support and absorbs a gear separating force imparted in operation by the differential and transmitted to the differential bearing support. Thus, the abutment member restrains deflection of the differential bearing support relative to the axle housing resulting from the gear separating force.

    摘要： A transmission case is provided with a housing enclosing a clutch and/or torque converter connected to an engine, and a shifting mechanism case enclosing a shifting mechanism in an oil-tight state that is connected to the housing. A focus for stress resulting from an impact load acting on the transmission case is formed as a frangible portion in the housing. Thus, damage to the transmission from an excessive load is limited to the housing, and by absorbing the impact from that damage, damage to the shifting mechanism case is prevented and oil leakage from the transmission case is avoided.
