摘要： Systems and approaches arc provided to enable multiple user devices to share data between devices. In one scenario, a user may click on or touch a telephone hyperlink from a browser of a desktop computer to initiate a telephone call from the user's mobile phone. In another situation, a user may begin various computing tasks from a tablet in the evening, share data associated relating to her work with a business computer, and complete her tasks the next day in the office with little to no minimal disruption to her work flow. In effect, the user may “cut” or “copy” data from a first personal computing device and paste that “data” onto a second computing device.

In one embodiment, a phone address is assigned to a subscriber and/or a subscriber's mobile telecommunications device. A call directed to the phone address is routed to a call processing system. An outbound call from the call processing system is placed to a wireless communication service provider so as to cause, at least in part, the wireless communication service provider to route the outbound call to the subscriber's mobile telecommunications device, wherein the call processing system configures call signaling parameters associated with the outbound call so that the outbound call appears to be to a phone number ported to the wireless communication service provider, and wherein the phone number has not been ported to the wireless communication service provider. The outbound call is bridged with the inbound call.

摘要： A system for providing enhanced history information across multiple clients comprises a call application server having a history system, a telephony system and a history cache. The call application server advantageously maintains a history records for each user of the system. The enhanced history system is particularly advantageous because regardless of the endpoint (e.g., phone, thin client, personal call manager or standalone IP phone) with which the user is interacting, the history information specifically for that user is delivered by the call application server to that endpoint. Furthermore, the call application server allows the user to access history information using end points which heretofore were unable to provide history functionality. Finally, the call application server makes the history records universal across all endpoints with which the user interacts, in contrast to prior art, which had limited call history information specific to a particular endpoint.

Incoming calls simultaneously ring the user's mobile wireless telephone and IP telephone.
