    摘要： A three speed powershift gear transmission includes a torque converter mounted on the input shaft and driven by a fluid actuated modulating clutch to provide fine speed control in two output speed ranges, direct drive in a higher speed range and a reversing drive provided by a duplex planetary gear set. A single countershaft mounts the driven gears of the three speed ranges. The first or lowest speed driven gear is mounted on an overrunning clutch and the second driven gear is connectable to the countershaft by a fluid actuated clutch. The direct drive or third gear is fixed to the countershaft and is drivingly engaged to the input shaft through a fluid actuated clutch. The duplex planetary gear includes a friction clutch responsive to axial gear reaction forces to lock the ring gear to the planet gear carrier in forward drive and a fluid actuated brake for arresting rotation of the ring gear to provide reverse rotation of the planet gear carrier and the transmission output shaft.

    摘要： A motion reversal device for mechanisms for compact cassettes, moving spool arrangements and the like, comprising a frame; two alternatively tape drive and winding hub members rotatably supported on the frame. A first gear is supported on the frame and is adapted to drive one of the hub members. A second gear is also supported on the frame and is adapted to drive the other of the hub members. A rockable train of gears has a supporting structure for rotatably supporting the gears of the train of gears. The supporting structure is pivotally supported on the frame to allow the rocking motion of the train. The rocking movement of the rockable pivotally supported structure allowing an output gear of the train to alternatively mesh with the first and the second gear. A reversible electric motor supported on the frame has a drive gear constantly in mesh with an input gear of the train of gears in all positions of the rocking train of gears. The driving gear of the reversible motor urges the rocking train of gears selectively in mesh with the first and the second gear depending on the direction of rotation of the reversible electric motor.

    摘要： A reversible transmission assembly for power transmission in which drive means and driven means are selectively interengaged by a gear train having three gears, with one operatively secured to the drive means, another to the driven means and the third selectively interengageable with either of the first two for turning the driven means in selected directions. The driven gear is mounted for axial movement away from the first gear means to a disengaging relation with the gear train. A clutch has one clutch half operatively secured to the second gear and the other clutch half operatively driven by the drive means with these two clutch halves adapted to interengage when the driven gear is disengaged from the gear train to drive the driven means in a direction opposite to that direction in which it''s driven when the three gears are interengaged. A simple gear shifter is provided.
