    Abstract: An electrical assembly, such as an electrical connector, is presented. The assembly includes a housing formed of a dielectric material using an additive manufacturing process such as stereolithography, digital light processing, fused deposition modeling, fused filament fabrication, selective laser sintering, selecting heat sintering, multi-jet modeling, multi-jet fusion, or 3D printing. The assembly further includes an electromagnetic shield integrally formed on a surface of the housing by a layer of conductive material deposited on the dielectric material by the additive manufacturing process. A method of manufacturing a housing configured to contain an electrical assembly is also presented. The method includes the steps of forming the housing from a dielectric material using an additive manufacturing process and integrally forming an electromagnetic shield on an external surface of the housing by depositing a layer of conductive material on the dielectric material during the additive manufacturing process.

    Abstract: A video-camera device comprises a motherboard, and a daughterboard comprising a video-camera module the optical axis of which is perpendicular to a main plane of the daughterboard. The motherboard includes a rigid main segment comprising image-processing electronic components. The motherboard including a secondary segment made of the same material as, and integrally formed with, the main segment. The secondary segment is partially surrounded by a void. The secondary segment has a rectilinear border defining the junction between the main segment and the secondary segment. The rectilinear border defines a pivot axis of the secondary segment. The daughterboard is mounted perpendicularly on the secondary segment in such a way that the secondary segment is inclinable relative to the surface of the main segment about the pivot axis in order to allow the angle of inclination between the optical axis of the video-camera module and the main segment to be adjusted.

    Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes a connector housing, a cap, and a lever pivotably attached to the cap. The lever moves from a transport position, a preliminary mating position, and a fully mated position. The connector assembly has a first holding means holding the lever in the transport position and a second holding means holding the lever in the preliminary mating position. The first holding means has a locking arm on the lever and a latching projection on the cap. The connector housing has a wall extending towards the cap configured to release the locking arm from the latching projection and move the lever towards the preliminary mating position. The second holding means comprises a locking protrusion and a locking reception receiving the locking protrusion when the lever is in the preliminary mating position. A mating connector displaces the locking protrusion to release the lever when the assembly is mated.
