    摘要: A disc brake assembly comprises: an anchor bracket having at least one bore formed therein, the bore defining a first axis; a brake caliper slidably secured to the anchor bracket; a pair of brake pads carried by the disc brake assembly; and at least one guide pin adapted to be disposed in the bore of the anchor bracket, the at least one guide pin defining a second axis; wherein when the at least one guide pin is disposed in the at least one bore of the anchor bracket, the second axis of the at least one guide pin is configured to be offset relative to the first axis of the at least one bore such that there is provided at least one defined point of contact between only a portion of a shank portion of the at least one guide pin and a portion of an inner surface of the at least one bore.

    摘要: A brake system includes a plunger assembly for actuating wheel brakes during a normal brake apply. The plunger assembly includes a motor mounted on the housing for driving an actuator. A first piston is connected to the actuator. The first piston is slidably mounted within the housing for pressurizing a first fluid chamber in the housing. A second piston is slidably mounted within the housing for pressurizing a second fluid chamber in the housing. A pump-less control valve arrangement includes a first control valve regulating the flow of fluid between a first fluid chamber and the first wheel brake. A second control valve regulates the flow of fluid between a second fluid chamber and the second wheel brake. An isolation valve arrangement switches the brake system between the normal braking mode and the manual push-through mode.

    摘要: An absolute steering angle sensor includes a single main gear having first gear teeth with a first pitch, second gear teeth with a second pitch, wherein the first and second gear pitches are different. A first magnet gear is driven by the first gear teeth, wherein the first magnet gear has a first gear profile and a first diameter. A second magnet gear is driven by the second gear teeth, wherein the second magnet gear has a second gear profile and a second diameter. The first and second gear profiles are different, and the first and second diameters are different. A first magnet rotates with the first magnet gear and emits a first magnetic field, and a second magnet rotates with the second magnet gear and emits a second magnetic field. A sensor assembly measures strengths of the first and second magnetic fields and calculates an absolute steering angle.

    摘要: A vehicle brake system includes a brake pedal unit (BPU) coupled to a vehicle brake pedal and including an input piston connected to operate a pedal simulator during a normal braking mode, and coupled to actuate a pair of output pistons during a manual push through mode. The output pistons are operable to generate brake actuating pressure at first and second outputs of the BPU. A hydraulic pressure source for supplying fluid at a controlled boost pressure is included. The system further includes a hydraulic control unit (HCU) adapted to be hydraulically connected to the BPU and the hydraulic pressure source, the HCU including a slip control valve arrangement, and a switching base brake valve arrangement for switching the brake system between the normal braking mode wherein boost pressure from the pressure source is supplied to first and second vehicle brakes, and the manual push through mode wherein brake actuating pressure from the BPU is supplied to the first and second vehicle brakes.
