    摘要: An ignition circuit for a two-stroke engine has a spark plug connected via an ignition switch to a voltage source. The ignition switch is actuated via a control circuit to close the ignition switch in dependence upon the crankshaft angle and the rpm of the engine and to trigger an ignition spark per revolution of the crankshaft. For one and the same rpm, the control circuit makes available an ignition time point for the idle case and an ignition time point for the acceleration case. To achieve rapid acceleration from idle, the control circuit monitors idle rpm to switch to an ignition time point for the acceleration case for a pregiven rpm increase. If the control circuit determines an absence of the rpm increase or drop after ignition switchover to the acceleration case, then there is a switch back to the ignition time point for the idle case.

The clutch comprises centrifugal bodies, each of which is essentially comprised of a shoe that has the shape of a circular arc and has a support member. The shoes are held and guided by guides on a carrier member that is disposed on the drive side. On the output side, the clutch is essentially formed of a drum having a surface that axially and radially spans the centrifugal bodies. Disposed at each end of a centrifugal body is a projection and a complementary recess, which both extend approximately tangentially relative to the drum.

    摘要: The invention relates to a two-cycle engine for a drive engine in a portable, manually operated tool. The combustion chamber formed in a cylinder is delimited by a piston that moves up and down, whereby the piston, by means of a connecting rod, drives a crankshaft rotatably mounted in a crankcase. The combustion chamber has an outlet for removing waste gases, and provided for supplying a fuel/air mixture prepared by a mixture preparation device, and combustion air, are gas-supplying channels that open into the combustion chamber. In order to reduce scavenging losses, it is provided that for the entire duration of the gas exchange exclusively air flows in the area near the outlet and exclusively fuel/air mixture flows out of the crankcase in the area further away from the outlet.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a pressure compensating valve for a fuel tank of a work apparatus such as a portable handheld work apparatus equipped with an internal combustion engine. The fuel tank has a tank wall and the pressure compensating valve includes a housing cap defining an inner space and is impermeable to air. A pressure compensating stub is provided on the tank wall and terminates within the housing cap. Pressure compensating apertures are formed in the tank wall to open into the stub and a valve is provided for controlling the apertures for venting and ventilating the fuel tank. A passage connects the inner space of the cap with the atmosphere. A finely porous filter element is fixedly held in the stub and the apertures open into the filter element. The housing cap is mounted on the filter element and is held on the filter element.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a fuel-injection arrangement for a two-stroke engine in a motor-driven chain saw. An injection pump is mounted in a base housing with the injection pump including a pump piston axially displaceable in a pump cylinder. The pump piston delimits a pump chamber. The pump chamber is connected via a suction valve to a fuel tank. The fuel drawn by suction is pumped by the pump piston via a pressure valve, an injection line and an injection valve to the engine. For driving the pump piston, the latter is connected at one end to a membrane via a membrane plate. The membrane delimits a work chamber charged with fluctuating crankcase pressure. A simple assembly is provided by arranging the pump chamber, the suction valve and the pressure valve in a common valve housing which, in turn, is seated in the base housing of the injection pump in a seal-tight manner. The injection line is connected directly to the valve housing. This permits a preassembly of the valve housing with the valves provided therein which facilitates the manufacture of the fuel-injection arrangement.

    摘要: The invention is directed to an ignition circuit for an internal combustion engine such as a two-stroke engine of a handheld, portable tool such as a motor-driven chain saw or the like. The engine has a cylinder and a piston conjointly defining a combustion chamber and a crankshaft connected to the piston. The ignition circuit includes a spark plug mounted in the cylinder and voltage source. A switch is actuable between an on-condition wherein the voltage source is connected to the spark plug for initiating a spark in the chamber and an off-condition wherein the voltage source is disconnected from the spark plug. An electronic control circuit actuates the switch between the two conditions in dependence upon the angular position of the crankshaft and other operating parameters of the engine such as the engine speed. The electronic control circuit includes a high-speed control circuit and an idle-speed control circuit for determining the firing time in the control range of the idle speed.

    摘要: A centrifugal clutch for use especially in a motor-driven chain saw. The clutch includes a carrier which is provided for attachment to a drive shaft and on which radially moveable centrifugal weights are mounted. The weights can move radially outwardly under centrifugal force and counter to spring force and come into contact engagement with the drum which is the output end of the clutch. A restraining device is provided between each centrifugal weight 2 and carrier 1 so that the engagement of the clutch does not occur until after an elevated speed has been reached. Disengagement of the clutch occurs as in known clutches somewhat above the idling speed. The restraining device is configured so that it does not clear the outward path of the centrifugal weight until a certain minimum centrifugal force has been exceeded. This has the effect that the clutch engages suddenly at mid range speeds and can transmit a very high initial torque to the output tool driven through the clutch.

Internal combustion engines of this type have a choke flap and a throttle flap positioned one behind the other in the air-intake channel. In order to ensure a reliable starting of the engine independently of manual positioning activities, the invention provides that in the starting operation, the choke flap initially moves independently of the throttle flap. The throttle flap is held in a half-throttle position between the full-throttle position and the idle position. Before the choke flap is brought into its at-rest no-choke position, a movable holding mechanism is actuated and the throttle flap is released.

    摘要: A centrifugal clutch has a carrier and at least two centrifugal weights which are each connected to the carrier by means of at least one spring. These centrifugal weights are pivotally mounted on the carrier and are preloaded radially inwardly with respect to the carrier by means of the springs. In this way, the centrifugal weights have a defined pivot axis so that they can pivotally move from their rest position to the coupling position when the rotational speed exceeds a predetermined speed above no-load speed. By preloading the centrifugal weights, the latter are prevented from pivoting outwardly at speeds below no-load speed so that the centrifugal weights do not strike the clutch drum at rotational speeds beneath a predetermined value.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine having an intake channel that opens into a crankcase. A first fuel channel opens into the intake channel to supply fuel thereto as a function of underpressure in the intake channel. An auxiliary channel opens into a transfer channel that fluidically connects a crankcase to the combustion chamber. A second fuel channel opens into the auxiliary channel and is connected to a storage reservoir for fuel. At least one valve controls the quantity of fuel to be supplied to the engine via the auxiliary channel. Largely fuel-free air is supplied to the engine via the intake channel during idling. During a first revolution of the crankshaft, fuel is supplied via the auxiliary channel, so that a combustible mixture can form in the combustion chamber. During a second revolution, largely fuel-free air is supplied via the auxiliary channel and the combustion chamber is scavenged with largely fuel-free air.
