摘要: A repairable integrated thin film transistor matrix substrate includes an insulated substrate, and a plurality of parallel gate bus lines and a plurality of accumulated capacitance bus lines formed on the insulated substrate. Each of the accumulated capacitance bus lines extend parallel to and between a pair of the gate bus lines, and has a plurality of auxiliary capacitance electrodes which extend from it. A first insulated film is provided on the gate and accumulated capacitance bus lines and the auxiliary capacitance electrodes. A plurality of operating films are formed on the first insulated film, and on each of the operating films, a corresponding thin film transistors are provided. At least two of the thin film transistors are electrically connected to each of the gate bus lines. Also included is a plurality of parallel drain bus lines which are provided substantially perpendicular to the gate and the accumulated capacitance bus lines on the first insulated film. Each drain bus line electrically connects at least two of the thin film transistors. In addition, a second insulated film having an opening over each of the thin film transistors is provided on the thin film transistors and the drain bus lines. Further, a plurality of pixel electrodes are provided on the second insulated film, which pixel electrodes being electrically connected to a corresponding one of the transistors via the opening. At least one first portion of at least one of the gate and the drain bus lines overlaps with at least one second portion of at least one of the auxiliary capacitance and the pixel electrodes. A method for repairing the matrix substrate generally includes electrically connecting a conductor to either sides of a defect to act as a bypass.

摘要: An image pickup apparatus for picking up an object comprises an image pickup device formed by arranging the photoelectric conversion elements constituting pixels in two-dimensional directions. A reading out circuit reads out from the image pickup device an electric signal obtained by photoelectric conversion with the image pickup device. A selecting portion selects from a plurality of reading out modes a reading out mode of the reading out circuit to carry out reading of the electric signal from the image pickup device. A memory circuit stores reading out positions of the image pickup device respectively in correspondence with the plurality of reading out modes. The reading out circuit reads out the electric signals from the image pickup device based on a reading out position corresponding to the reading out mode selected from the plurality of reading out modes by the selecting portion.

摘要: An electronic imaging apparatus composed of a solid-state sensor element for converting an image focused by an optical system into image data. The apparatus is selectively operable in a first drive mode for reading at least a large number of pixels of image data out of the solid-state sensor element, and in a second drive mode for reading a second number of selected pixels of image data out of the solid-state sensor element, the second number being smaller than the large number and the selected pixels being suited for foreground scene recognition. The apparatus further includes an optical black level correction process changing system for changing a process of detecting an optical black level corresponding to an optical black part of the sensor element and correcting image data according to the detected level, the process being changed according to whether the first drive mode or the second mode is selected to effect a first correction in the first drive mode and a second correction in the second drive mode, the first correction being achieved on the basis of a presently detected optical black level, and the second correction being achieved by a feedback control based on a difference between a previously detected optical black level and a desired optical black level.

摘要: The inner wall of a hub has a step surface between an upper bearing mounting surface and a magnet mounting surface. A spacer of ring-like shape is directly mounted to the step surface of the hub for determining the upper position of a rotor magnet. The inside diameter of the spacer is smaller than the inner wall at the bearing mounting surface of the hub so that a space is created between the bearing mounting surface, the spacer, and the bearing for holding a portion of adhesive. When a portion of the adhesive applied for bonding the bearing to the bearing mounting surface of the hub remains uncured, it will be retained in the space and prevented from entering the interior of the motor.
