摘要: An annular coil assembly includes a multi layer coil having a wound-over portion in which an upper winding layer is wound over a lower winding layer, and a non-wound-over portion in which each turns of the upper winding layer is housed between two adjacent turns of the lower winding layer. The ratio of plastic deformation of the wire in the wound-over portion and adjacent areas thereof is less than that of the wire in the non-wound-over portion.

摘要: This invention is a technique to determine radioactivity of low energy beta emitters using liquid scintillator. Corrections for regression equations which represent the relationship between counting efficiency of a standard and counting rate of a sample make it possible to obtain the radioactivity of the low energy beta emitters. It is very difficult for the emitters to be measured with the conventional efficiency tracing technique.

摘要: Provided is a nose for a supersonic flying object, which has a natural laminar flow nose shape capable of suppressing laminar-turbulent transition and drastically reducing a frictional drag. The nose for a supersonic flying object has a low resistive body shape symmetrical about a central axis as a base shape, wherein the base shape is approximately a cone shape having a linear, simple convex curve, or simple concave curve generatrix and a deformation element having a wavy shape is added to the base shape.

摘要: A rolling bearing unit with decreased weight and improved durability is provided. An outer-ring core, manufactured using a ferrous alloy, forms an outer ring and is molded to an outer-ring main body that is manufactured using a synthetic resin containing reinforced fibers or using an aluminum alloy. Outer-ring raceway members are fitted into and fastened to mating concave surfaces of the inner circumferential surface of the outer-ring core that are exposed from the outer-ring main body. A hub core, manufactured using a ferrous alloy, forms a hub and is molded to a hub main body made using a synthetic resin containing reinforced fibers or using an aluminum alloy. Around the outer circumferential surface of the hub core, inner-ring raceway members are fitted onto and fastened to a fitting surface of the outer circumferential surface of the hub core that is exposed from the hub main body.

摘要: In a motor-generator control system for controlling a motor-generator, first and second sets of multiphase windings of a motor-generator are arranged to be spatially shifted in phase from each other. An allocating unit is configured to, upon input of workload request for the motor-generator, determine a first torque to be allocated to the first set of multiphase windings and a second torque to be allocated to the second set of multiphase windings. A resultant torque of the first torque and second torque meets the input workload request for the motor-generator. An energizing unit is configured to energize the first set of multiphase windings to create the first torque and energize the second set of multiphase windings to create the second torque.

摘要: The invention provides an ultrasonic flow velocity meter that can measure the flow velocity of a fluid over a wide range of degree of contamination with high degree of accuracy. The ultrasonic flow velocity meter includes a mounting base to be fixed to the outside of a conduit line in which the fluid to be measured flows, the mounting base having a mounting surface formed obliquely with respect to a longitudinal axis of the conduit line, a sending transducer fixed to the mounting base for emitting an ultrasonic wave to the interior of the fluid, a receiving transducer fixed to the mounting base and receiving the reflected ultrasonic wave having subjected to Doppler shift and emitted from the interior of the fluid, and a calculating unit for calculating the flow velocity of the fluid from the amount of the Doppler shift of the reflected wave received by the receiving transducer. The sending transducer and the receiving transducer are being arranged so that an axis of sending and an axis of reception are coincided with respect to each other, continuously send the ultrasonic wave and continuously receive the ultrasonic wave, respectively.
