摘要： Methods for making fused film-plastic parts and parts made thereby are disclosed. The paint film covered parts include a show surface section with a paint film laminate overlying the plastic substrate of this section of the part to provide the desired aesthetic appeal. An attachment flange section of the part is provided and is usually hidden from sight when the part is assembled to the auto or truck body structure. The flange serves as a location at which clamps, bolts, rivets or the like can support or attach to the auto to truck structure. A raised portion, such as a boss section, is provided intermediate the show surface section and the attachment flange. This boss is adapted for contiguous or closed spaced positioning adjacent the auto or truck structural part. The boss is completely covered by the paint film with the paint film terminating along the attachment flange.

摘要： A clutch comprises a driving rotor (11; 52; 83; 202; 302) coupled to a driving source (2) such as a motor, and a driven rotor (12; 53; 85; 204; 303) directly engaged with the driving rotor. Both rotors are accommodated in a housing (13; 51; 82; 201; 301). A lock member (14; 54; 86; 119; 205; 304) comprised of rollers or balls is located between the driven rotor and the housing. When the driven rotor itself is rotated, the lock member is held between the driven rotor and the housing to block the rotation of the driven rotor relative to the housing. When the driving source rotates the driving rotor, the lock member is released from the held state to allow the driving rotor to rotate the driven rotor relative to the housing. Such a clutch can block the transmission of the rotation from the driven rotor to the driving rotor without fail, and can reduce the strength required to both rotors.

摘要： In a motor device for vehicles, a brush holder is interposed between a motor yoke housing and a reduction gear unit housing has a holder body and a connector unit integrally formed with each other. The connector unit holds therein connector terminals having base ends connected to brushes. A sealing cover is molded integrally on the holder body and the base ends of the connector terminals. The sealing cover seals insides of the yoke housing and the gear housing water-tightly from the outside. The sealing cover is preferably made of rubber, elastomer or adhesive resin, and formed with the brush holder by two-color molding. The sealing cover has a cylindrical cover part extending from the connector unit, and the motor device is mounted in a vehicle door with the cylindrical cover part being attached to the vehicle door for electrical connection with an external power source.

By this method for producing a silica-based film coated article, an excellent silica-based film coated article can be obtained without requiring baking and pretreatment. Furthermore, a functional film coated article excellent in durability can be produced in a short period of time and safely by using the abovementioned silica-based film as a primer film and applying thereon an organosilane having a hydrolyzable group and a functional group having a specific function or a hydrolyzate thereof.
